35-35 at the half :o

Judging by 3.5 games now there will be a stark difference in pace depending on where these two play. SAS has been able to slow the game to a grind-fest in San Antonio both times now, whereas GS has kept them running in Oracle.

I am really wondering why they aren't running the high pick and roll more? I think their offense is a lot worse recently because of it

Back when Curry was at 31.5ppg on 68% TS, and it was close enough to the end of the season to imagine him finishing up there, it was clear in my mind. I never thought he'd fall so far, so quickly. I'm much more unsure now than I was then.

But when was this? The last time he was above a 31.0 PPG average was 28 games into the season back before Christmas (through 12/23) on 68% TS (29/6/7 on 65% TS since). That's only a little over 1/3 of the season - it's been 4 months since then, is that really that quick of a dropoff?

Could just be that my memory is off. What was he at in late February?

I think he peaked at the OKC game where he hit the buzzer beater. He was at 30.7 on 68.5 TS%

So now they will not have lost to any team twice this season nor lost in back to back games.

Didn't look that tired to me lol.

I'm standing by my belief that the Warriors have an extra gear with regards to certain lineups that the Spurs don't, and that will play out in a playoff series.

When the Warriors went with their Death Star lineup in the 4th, it blew the game open.

They took the tougher route to the record after those 2 home losses, but they're about to do it anyway. Unreal. Great game by Steph tonight.

They still need the chip to stamp this season and put themselves in the GOAT team conversation, but regardless of what happens moving forward you have to say this regular season in and of itself was just an unfathomable accomplishment. And I personally hold it in higher regard than the 96 Bulls run given I view this league as clearly stronger than the one those Bulls operated in. I'm still not sure the 96 Bulls were actually even the best Bulls team of that time, but merely profited from the heels of a massive expansion wave that diluted the talent pool league wide leading up to '96. It was even before the global boom to supplement said expansion. The talent pool is much deeper today given how much more global the game has become. For these reasons I always thought it was going to take a very special team to match or exceed the number the Bulls hung up there. The Warriors are that special. Unreal team

Curry surpassed +1,000 in Plus/minus tonight. Green surpassed +1,050.

I hear the possibility of 30 is still there but what would he need to hit it. Also is 50/40/90 guaranteed short or another 7/22 type game

in the 2 games against the cavs, 3 games against OKC, and the 4 games against san antonio, they have been outrebounded by 52 rebounds

Their point differential in those games is +105. in other words, they win by an average of 13.125

Over 82 games thats +1076.25

Green played on average about 7.5 minutes at center in those games.

Bring that up to 12 for the playoffs.

in the one game they lost, against the spurs, away from home, it took a 1/12 3 point shooting performance from curry and a 1/7 3 point shooting performance from klay, along with the absence of bogut and iggy, for the spurs to win by 8 (not to mention 3 of those points were from late intentional fouls)

Consider that the warriors near the high +20s per 48 with green as center...

30.00 with no rounding would need 41 on Wednesday. 3P% and FT% are pretty much locked above 40/90.

FG% is trickier - he's only 6 shots (FGM) above 50% right now so a 7-22 kind of night would put him under .500.

Hypothetically speaking if Curry wins MVP, The Chip, FInals MVP AND breaks the record. How high up does this year catapult him in the all time ranks? At the very least I think that would put him in the top 20..

Kobe's final game is going to be so massively overshadowed by the Warriors going for 73 at the same exact time. It's almost too much to be going on at once. Wednesday night is going to be nuts

Right now the Lakers last game for Kobe is on ESPN, is it getting replaced by the Warriors?
