Honestly, if the Lakers blow through their early easy schedule and are the number 1 seed by year end, LeBron should be favorite to win MVP. There's no one else having an incredible breakout year. Luka is fat, and his team isn't very good without KP, Giannis isn't going to win 3 straight, and Harden has ruined the narrative of his whole season. LeBron should be the default vote this year.

Oh no - what happened to Caruso? Any chance he could've infected the others?

Was legitimately worried he'd miss that dunk tbh. He really just doesn't get up as high as he used to.

At the same time - how tf does he play like this when he played so terrible the night before?

Dennis is a good defender too. Very aggressive and pesky

Trae is making his case. Wouldn't be surprised if Hawks continue to be a dominant offensive team that can win 50-55 games

More Schroeder/AD pick n roll please. The Gasol give and go is a bit too obvious when you do it everytime

Realistically if LeBron is playing ~30 minutes a night he isn't going to win the MVP, regardless of how good the Lakers record is.

Somebody in a very good team will put up MVP level numbers. That could be Giannis or Luka or KD or even Davis. But someone will do it.

He really shouldn't be anyways

He should finish off ball cuts, catch and shoot, score in transition, and play above avg d hopefully

His iso game is ****

We already have Lebron, Schroeder, and AD for iso scoring already on top of Trez finishing.

No reason for Kuzma to take these difficult contested shots, but he still does, at least he is making them for now

Wes Matthews is really pathetic

Wish we had a guy who could hit tough 3s like Trent Jr

And Kuzma travels seemingly every other game

Is LeBron bigger this year? He seems to be dwarfing other wings

Bench lineup doesn't have a lot of rim protection. Marc and AD should be staggered.

AD is so soft, 2 pts at the half

In his prime

And people want this guy to win mvp over Lebron

Interesting stat:

Anthony Davis has not blocked a single shot yet this season (in 2.5 games).
Don't believe the hype...

He's looked kinda of disengaged so far, and I think Schroder being able to attack and score off the pick and roll with AD has limited his touches a bit.

They're not helping AD at all. No movement when he catches the ball

Theyve run more offball sets for Kuzma than Ad so far this season
