I've let myself get distracted, and I don't think I actually voted.

Vote: West '68

For the reasons I've already given...unless something weird happens.

Anyone have a vote count?

How did you reach this conclusion? We don't know what Robinson would like on offense if he had a teammate like Nash. Show me how well Amare did without a good PG like DRob

I always thought David Robinson's offense was more similar to Chris Bosh's than anyone else. Of course, Robinson was a ton better than Bosh at every aspect but I thought their style of play and their abilities were quite similar.

Robinson was undoubtedly better than Amare on offense. I'm not sure how anyone could question that. There is more to offense than just scoring. There is also passing and offensive rebounding, two things where Robinson completely separate himself from Amare. Although I would like to add that Amare was a pretty good offensive rebounder but Robinson was just a beast.

I could see that.
Nice comparison.

yea, DRob faced up a lot like Bosh does but Bosh isn't the athlete Drob is and Drob's jumper isn't as wet as Bosh's.

good comparison though

Kobe 08 (5) – ardee, bastillion, Josephpaul, Dr Positivity, SDChargers#1
Robinson 95 (4) – DavidStern, LikeaBosh, drza, ElGee
Wade 06 (1) - JordansBulls
Tmac 03 (1) – therealbig3
Moses 83 (1) – PTB fan
West 68 (1) - Doctor MJ

PS ElGee, I noticed you edited your original post when you switched your vote to 95 Robinson, I think it makes things easier vote counting wise if people make a new post saying they switched their vote, rather than editing the old one

I really don't think 08 is kobe's peak. I have a hard time believing he got better after the 05-06 season

Finally finished reading up. I'm voting Wade 09.

IMO its between Wade and Kobe. Personally I believe they're even but Wade had a higher peak within the season (07 or 08 for Kobe and 09 for Wade). At no point was Kobe 34/5/8 good.

Also why are so many people voting DRob already? He's a second option with great (not the best though) defense. Definetly can't see a case over Kobe, Wade, West, Nash, Dirk, TMac, and Chuck (who actually played defense in 93).

I definetly can't see him over Dirk, Kobe, and Wade.

Not better than 34/5/8.5/2.5 on 61TS for 27 games. It's amazing though.

I think 09 was his best playoff run.
His individual peak may have been in 06.

Considering how close the vote is should we close it so soon?

I've asked people to do both.

Edit your post so that you only have one place where you say "Vote: Adam Morrison '13".

Add a new post indicating that your old post was changed - but don't use the official voting format.

Don't know what to say. The sentence "I'll switch my vote to 95 Robinson" apparently wasn't clear enough.
