Oscar and Robinson is a strong duo. The downside is that they combine for ~40 FGA. Although, Quotatious went with Jordan / another higher FGA player the last time around, so this may feel like a walk in the park for him.

Actually, I can get prime David and Oscar for only 36.7 combined FGA (16.8 FGA for '96 Robinson and 19.9 for '63 Robertson, as you can see in my signature). That's really not a lot for two top 15-20 all-timers.

I assumed you would go with '95 Robinson and '64 Oscar, the peak versions, not that '96 and '63 are very far off.

I swear I'm not copying E-Balla from last year's draft but this fit is just too good. I agonized over the Nash pick, there were two other players I was debating who would've taken the team in a different direction but again, I just couldn't resist the knowledge that I could have these two passing savants on the same team.

I thought you drafted Jahlil Okafor for a moment.

Can I say Jahlil Okafor? I think that's safe.

It was a razor's edge between Jahlil Okafor and Downtown Fred Brown

Going to sleep - Big Board with Quotatious and Narigo.

Narigo - I sent you two versions - please use latest one (same players, different order). Thanks in advance.

Good pick with West. I was considering picking him as a small guard to pair up with Magic.

Kobe + Big is too enticing. I wanted him, too.

Lorak has come away the winner from the first 2 rounds.

I was highly debating Kobe vs Nash for my spot and it was hard considering Kobe is my favourite player but I think that while the Kobe-Walton fit would be great the Nash-Walton fit would be otherwordly. Plus the FGA gives me more flexibility going forward.

Kobe + Walton is a better pairing IMO, but having flexibility is appealing.

Probably in a vacuum yeah but I think in this context I'll be able to choose better players around them. And also these two together will create a tremendous environment

My favorite duo (other than my own of course) actually is 70s Fan. I love the fit of those two well-rounded perimeter players. I think it's important to have guys with big impact in both sides of the ball in these games.

Kareem is a perimeter player?

Loving most of the duos so far, will be interesting to see where they go :)

He wouldn't survive in the modern era without being a 3pt bomber

I can't believe Doc MJ first picked LeBron. The Walton/Green picks are probably the best in the first two rounds since they're super high ceiling raisers that offer picking flexibility + don't take so much away from the 90 FGA limit.

I thought a lot about taking Curry as my first pick. The problem for me was I thought he'd be too polarizing. People are far more familiar with his flaws and tend to blow them out of proportion since they know him better. Even if Bord has similar issues, they tend to be glossed over with time.

Obviously Green is even more polarizing than Curry. The hint is though I don't think anyone really argues anymore that he doesn't have best in the world impact, I think they just argue he wouldn't be able to do it without being surrounded by all time talent. Fortunately on this team he will be surrounded by all time talent. So I'm hoping I can keep people honest here and people can project how great he'd be on a team like this.

I also love the fit between he and Bird both basketball-ly and culturally. There was a fantastic Arnovitz article about the Warriors culture recently and how Dray is the biggest part of it that was really great.

Is Micah planning to have MJ play point guard? I've never been a fan of letting a guy with a scoring mindset be the lead ball handler, so I'm excited to see what he can build.
