Watching these Warriors makes me realize that Draymond needs a real big to play the 5 alongside him. He’s just outmatched physically against the bigger dudes and doesn’t have the height to lock down the paint.

also annoying how after 8 years in the league has yet to develop a single reliable post move

Draymond knows what he’s good at and what he’s not.

?

is that an excuse not to get better? no one is saying he should be Embiid in the post, but developing a go-to move in 8 years isn't that difficult. just a single one.

Spending any serious time developing post moves would largely have been a waste for Green. As a meh athlete by NBA big standards at 6'6 or whatever he just wasn't going to ever get much there. And having 1 move is much like having 0 moves, you need a couple to be effective in competitive games.

I know, LOLKnicks and whatever...but we’ve quietly been competitive in all our games except the Celtics game which really blew open in the fourth. And RJ looks like a legit stud, ngl I was a little worried before the season, but he’s shattered all my expectations. Guy is a beast and the future, easily front runner for ROTY imo. Kinda shocked he’s not getting more coverage despite playing in NY, Zion would have definitely gotten all the coverage for lesser games, but it is what it is. Last time I was this excited during the season was probably 2013

And this is what makes Draymond Draymond. There's so many other players with a bigger offensive bag but very few as valuable as him to a team.

I've been really impressed with RJ as well, and the Knicks seem to really be letting him grow, and I appreciate that a lot with young guys.

Thybulle might already be the best perimeter defender in the league

Spurs might end up making the playoffs again just on the strength of their home record. They'll defo be well below 50 on the road, but it's so hard to beat Pop at home even with a big talent advantage.

6 of 40 on threes for the season. Averaging 2 of 13.3 in his first three games. Thrilling stuff

i know it's not cheating, but it still feels like cheating...remarkable how he still get to 40 points despite shooting like crap. it's gotta be so frustrating as a player knowing you're doing everything right but the dude still goes to the line 22 times.

WTF has happened to Conley? Hes looked like one of the worst offensive players in the league through 4 games

Conley and Ingles sucking major ass and the Jazz still 3-1. I'm feeling more and more confident in them as the number 1 seed every day.

Also, man it feels bad for the Pels right now. Played 3 good teams super competitively and when they finally got a game against a lesser squad they didn't have any of their perceived 3 best players on the court :/

Avery Bradley (given the assignment just pressure and guard ball and no help responsibility), Rubio, CP3 are some of the best defenders in the league at that position.

He's also clearly struggling with confidence and figuring out how to play without the ball in his hands as much with Mitchell.

Not encouraging so far but give it some sample size. But possible he's just getting old and slowing down and just not quite getting the separation/ burst he is used to. He is 32. It goes quickly when you are a small point guard. CP3 is still good but a shell of what he was in 17-18.

One more lottery pick isn't necessarily a bad thing. Zion, Jrue and the Laker kids might have made them too good already to get another lottery pick but not good enough to really compete.

They can still develop and be scary while out of the playoff race. Less pressure.
