Why?
He's allowed to have a bad game.

Well. 17 seasons of mostly great basketball is not enough for having a bad game here and there.

lebron may well e the goat, but the idea that its because he's the smartest player in the league is ridiculous. this mid clock three pointer for no good ereason is a thing he's done hsi entire career.

LMAO LeBron for real got carried this game. Whatever is going with him, he needs to get his head right for game 3.

Great shot by Davis. Dude played big in the 2nd half.

His scoring is absolutely fantastic.

Hm? Jokic has to play much harder for the duration of the game. Davis and James can afford to take half's off like tonight.

Not sure whether LeBron turning into Jared Dudley in the 2nd half or this thread turning into Skip Bayless/General Board takes was worse. I mean c'mon he sucked in the 2nd half, but he's got a 17-year history and he balled in the 1st half - the sky's not falling.

At least stats wise it wasn't a terrible night for him. His ts% still good, points and rebounds too. A little low on AST and high on TOs, but I'm confident he'll keep his averages trough the series.

Fun game. Jokic was a beast in the clutch.

Lebron is old, so even in the playoffs he has a lot of mediocre games

Nothing was going on with him. He looked terrific physically. He just couldn't do much once Denver closed off the driving lanes. Slow to adjust his attack from that point on (as always) and jumper's always been inconsistent. LeBron's biggest weakness to me has always been his unwillingness/inability to continue attacking when the defense wants him to pass. Sometimes it's in the team's best interests for the best player to force the issue a little bit and continue attacking/shooting. Too often LeBron's left dribbling aimlessly behind the 3pt line (like tonight). That's why I've neve quite understood the "basketball genius" moniker he gets. He's smart, but not THAT smart. A smarter player would understand the importance of cutting/moving without the ball, posting up and even taking mid-range jumpers when your bread and butter is taken away.

This would've been a humongous L for him had AD not come through.

If lebron was more even in this game it wouldn’t be seen for as terrible as it looked. But yeah that was rough, nothing working in the 4th

Man WTF was up with Bron in the 2nd half and specially 4th? He was incredible in the 1st half and then looked like Playoff P in the 4th

Bron had a bad half, it happens, that’s why you trade for Anthony Davis.
