Wright: Define GS fans. There might have been a few that felt that way but that was hardly the consensus among GS fans. I think I know. Most felt he had all-star potential when drafted but we've hardly pegged him as such based on his play here at G State. When he's been healthy he's looked like a nice player but he's never healthy and looks like he hasn't added an inch of muscle since he was drafted.
Morrow: Severely hyped? We love the kid, but ask yourself this question, what are we hyping him as. Do you see a contingent of Warriors fans saying Morrow is going to be a star?
Ellis: He got injured. That's it. The guy put up insane numbers every step away until the moped incident last spring. The question is whether or not he can be a point guard, but he has done nothing to indicate that the hoopla was undeserved.

That doesn't mean he's going to be one. I personally see him as a 3rd option on a championship level team and should ideally be the teams third best player.
Nobody is a sure thing, but once again the question is, what's going to stop him from reaching his ceiling? You can't say he doesn't have the drive, doesn't have the size, doesn't have the quickness. Every flaw in his game is correctable and the only stopping them from being corrected would be if he didn't put the work in. You really want to doubt that he won't put the work in? The guy has an insane work ethic. Good luck with that.
The next question, what is his ceiling? The person who said Tayshaun Prince, that is laughable. Prince can't wreak havoc in the paint like Randolph can. Tayshaun's style is steady and dependable. Randolph's style is explosive and intimidating.
I said
before the draft I would take Anthony Randolph over Michael Beasley. The kid is a diamond in the rough and is easy to dismiss because of how raw he is. Once you look closer, though, you'll see that he won't be raw for very long.
