LeBron heading to the locker room early. Probably because of the ankle

I agree that over the course of the full game AD was the best player, but it was LeBron & Dwight that really keyed the run that gave LAL separation.

Let's cool it with the agendas, Lebron was MVP against Houston. AD had an underwhelming defensive series but he was MVP against the Blazers and MVP tonight. Overall he has now out-MVPed Lebron imo

Davis was underwhelmin g against houston? What?

Lebron literally had one of the worst games, anyone's had these playoffs in game 3 vs houston. Davis has not had a single bad game these playoffs.

Did you just not read what I wrote?

AD must've scored all his points in the half of the game I wasn't watching lol, what a player.

This is without playoff Bron showing up... Jesus. Still concerned about the ankle though

Davis has been a top 2 player in the world since 2015. That's why it was so obvious him teaming up with Lebron would make the Lakers almost impossible to beat.

davis was not a top 2 player in 19. 18 arguably. 17 definitely not. 16 nope.

He's the same guy, he's just on a winning team now. 2015-now for a playoff series you take Lebron 1st, AD 2nd.

No he's not. Davis was not as good defensively before as he is this season and his playmaking only become decent in 18-19 where he was auto dq'd from top 2 consideration by being put on a limits restirction. Davis is also shooting much better these playoffs from three and middies than he's done before. Stop this revisionist bs.

He didnt have a postgame at all in 2015, 2016 it was bleh, 2017 it was better but he put it all together in 2018

He didnt have the shoulder injury so 2015 davis was a better shooter. He was also too skinny, 240 pounds vs 255 now

Having a game where you get 11 points from 10 shots kind of disqualifies it being the lebron series for me. Lebron's best game was better than davis's, but davis's worst was a lot better.

Is this the best team lebron has played on? His second Cleveland stint may be clouding my memory, but it’s been a long time since a Bron team doesn’t collapse with him off the court.

This is just winning bias, nothing more, nothing less. Davis has dominated in the playoffs every series he's been in, including against the dynastic Warriors. The game is just easier for him now because he gets to play off Lebron on offense and since he has less offensive load he can put more energy on defense, he didn't suddenly become better this season out of nowhere.

What are you even talking about? Looking at raw stats, traditional advanced stats, and impact stats, LeBron edged out AD on all of them in the Houston series.

Rondo is still good.

Dwight being good is not surprising to me. In the matchups he excels (non small ball that can play him off the floor) he was their 3rd/4th best player all year.

its wierd since the overall fit should theoretically suck, but davis is a perfect crime partner, and rondo and dwight stepping up have created a massive talent advantage relative to the competition.

The only team that looked potentilaly as good or better on paper were the bucks, but they flamed out and everyone else has critical flaws whether it be a lack of rim protection(clippers, nuggets, clippers), a lack of interior scoring(raptors), or a lack of playmaking(jazz, clippers). Only team that doesn't seem to have a massive roster flaw left is the heat, but they don't really excel in anything. Still given the heat actually have an elite rim protector, they're the league's best shot at stopping lebron from getting his 4th.

LeBron was +13 and AD -7 at the end of that run that basically put the game away.
