Howard is a beast on both ends.
Lebron is still lebron.
Wade is still Wade.
Durant had another great regular season and has been the best player in the playoffs so far.
Dirk had a below average regular season, great efficiency, but has been the second best player in the playoffs probably.

It is minute adjusted. James played 42, Durant 41 and Wade only 38 per game. Also, look at his steals and blocked shots numbers, they are quite impressive.

Meh, DefRtg is a team stat applied to individuals, it's not an individual stat. Miami's defense is better than OKC's, so that's why his is better. He is a better defender though.

Those are certainly the clear favorites. I wouldn't say never to the rest though. Should the Thunder take the title with Westbrook going off and Durant playing poorly, that would change things. Should Boston come back and win the thing on the back of a particular star, I could see that factoring in.

I don't know, I had him at borderline top-5 in the RS, and with this PS run (with HIS OWN PERFORMANCE in the PS run, not his team's) I'm pretty sure he gets in. Wade, Lebron, Howard are clearly ahead of him, and Durant, Rose and Kobe have their arguments (some stronger than the rest).

Well, the problem here might be rather that Nowitzki was underrated in the regular season. Finishing just 6th in the MVP voting was quite surprising to me.

Right now for the regular season and playoffs Nowitzki is at +10.7 per 48 minutes when playing, while the Mavericks without him are at -6.8 per 48 minutes. That guy has a great case for being Top5.

Before the playoffs I had:

2. Howard
3. Nowitzki/Wade
5. Rose/Durant

HM: Ginobili, Garnett, Paul, Bryant, Gasol and Pierce

The Top5 didn't change much so far, well, Gasol felt off the HM, because he didn't play good.

Kobe in no way had a better RS than Rose especially when you are 2nd on your team in win shares (teammate 2nd in the league) and 4th on your team in WS/PER 48 minutes when Rose was #1 on his team in both and led a team to the best record in the league.

You're right. Durant should probably move to #4, and Rose should be #5 on my RS list. For some reason I remembered Kobe's advanced stats to be much higher than they actually are.
