Russell was blowing the game because he got too excited after Mel Counts began guarding him with Wilt out at the time. He began shooting and kept missing and then the Lakers made a run until the end when Nelson made that shot that sealed the deal.

You're grasping at straws by continuously only bringing up offense. Russell's GOAT defense is what ultimately won Boston that title. Keep in mind this was a 35 year old Russell.

No it wasn't. He wasn't blocking shots or altering them down the stretch in that game. He nearly blew the game for them.
