I'd likely go either Durant or Mchale. When in doubt I've tended to lean towards the big man for defensive reasons, but I don't know if Mchale was an anchor so much as an excellent and versatile Man defender. Durant was a great offensive player, but I don't know if he was an offensive anchor so much as an excellent and versatile scorer.
Torn between the two, at the moment I'll stay with the big man. I know Mchale got hurt in '87, but as I said way back when, I look more at the probability of a player getting injured than at the actuality of the injury since circumstances change. So give me:
