Coming into this thread late because I just noticed the project.
1. The Lakers actually had five different championship eras if you count the two Kobe ones separately, while the Celtics also deserve to be credited for five because the Russell one was so long it should count double. (E.g., there were zero guys who were Russell's teammates or coaches all the way through.)
2. As noted above, the Lakers' edge in conference Finals is a lot stronger than the Celtics' edge in championships.
3. Both teams innovated a lot, but the Celtics innovated more. The Celtics innovated racial diversity, transition offense, shotblocking defense, and the modern trend of superteams. The Lakers innovated post offense, pregame shootarounds, revitalized transition offense in the 80s, and ... what else?

Innovated the value of frontcourt offense and shot variety in the face of the rising trend of analytics, Phoenix(MDA/Steve Nash), Boston(Doc Rivers/Ray Allen), Orlando(Stan Van Gundy/Rashard Lewis/Hedo Turkoglu/Dwight Howard)
The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player
