Jokic career so far has been very similar to Giannis. He also has 5 elite years in terms of regular season. Jokic has 2 elite post-seasons. Both of which with higher WS and VORP than Giannis' best post-season. Walton has 2 elite regular seasons and 1 elite post-season in comparison. I understand it completely if you have Jokic out of your top 100 but I find him much more similar to Giannis career wise than Walton even without 2021.
So '16 was an "elite" rs for Jokic? When he was just a 21.7 mpg player (avg 10/7/2.4)?
If that's an "elite" rs, how does Walton only get credit for '77 and '78 as "elite" seasons? Shouldn't he probably get credit for each of '86 and maybe even '85 [by that standard] as "elite" seasons, as well as maybe one elite season credit for '75+'76 combined?
I forgot to check. It was 4 elite seasons and 1 good one, the same goes for Giannis though so the point still stands.
