One of the closest rounds we've had.

I think Rik Smiths only got one point. There's a typo that shows four.

Yeah, that Oladipo-Brown range with Artest and Jermaine lurking behind was quite crazy.

For a rather successful franchise (win rate over 51% and 36 playoff appearances), it was interesting to see how they lacked top end talent.
Especially a highlight worthy situation considering the Pelicans are the next, as a franchise they've been considerably worse than the Pacers, yet their top 2 spot players in CP3 and AD are way better than any player the Pacers had bar Reggie Miller (even then, Reggie is close but I wouldn't take him over those 2).
The issue with per75 numbers;
36pts on 27 fga/9 fta in 36 mins, does this mean he'd keep up the efficiency to get 48pts on 36fga/12fta in 48 mins?
The answer; NO. He's human, not a linearly working machine.
Per75 is efficiency rate, not actual production.

The Pacers have never really believed in tanking. Actually, 3/4 of the ABA franchises (Spurs, Pacers, Nuggets) have been fairly consistent and competitive for most of their existence.

I know it's too late, but for anyone who'd like to watch McGinnis in action a bit more - I just made this video :)

Honestly I'm just stoked that Brown got any traction at all.

Oops, I meant to say Nuggets not Jazz. I keep thinking the Utah Stars and Utah Jazz are the same

I guess for most of the time for Denver in terms of trying though when they bottomed out they really did ('98 traded McDyess for picks Hanzlik Nuggets, '90 [to a lesser extent '91] Westhead Nuggets, '03 awful O - not even close to replacement level backcourt '03 Bzdelik Nuggets). All were clearly rebuilds with future the priority though none languished in the basement for too long.

Pre Carmelo was certainly their dark ages.
