1. KG, 2004. GOAT type impact.
2. Kevin Love, 2014.
Pretty good impact metrics, good box numbers. One of the worst 4th quarter teams in memory and still,as the largest discrepancy between actual wins and Pyth wins.
3. Cassell 2004. Good impact both ways even though most minutes played with KG.
4. Butler, 2018. Missed too many games but is the second best player here, but csnt put him at #2.
5. Brandon, 2000. One of her GOAT small player defenders.

3 hours and 35 minutes left on the clock for this one. With the recent events, I believe this one got a bit overlooked. (:
The issue with per75 numbers;
36pts on 27 fga/9 fta in 36 mins, does this mean he'd keep up the efficiency to get 48pts on 36fga/12fta in 48 mins?
The answer; NO. He's human, not a linearly working machine.
Per75 is efficiency rate, not actual production.

I am surprised multiple people have Cassell on their list, but nobody even mentioned Sprewell. I thought the perception back then was that they were equals on the 2004 team and when you take into account Cassell's playoff struggles against the lakers and even game 7 against sacramento it should at least be a close call between those two. But maybe I underestimate Cassell's importance because his bad playoff games are nearly all I have seen from that team.

Sprewell was too busy trying to feed his family instead of producing on the court.

With 7 votes, this is the lowest number of votes in the project right now. We’re usually in 9-12 range.

Right joke, wrong year.
Spree, like Cassell, didn’t turn toxic until after their one good season.
In general I’d say Lemnas confusion makes sense. The two players were always seen as in the same bucket, and the gap between them got closer in the playoffs.
That said, from our modern analytic lens Spree is basically just a scorer with awful efficiency, so it’s hard to argue that KG was lucky to have him the way folks tend to argue pertaining to Cassell.
