They had one in Markieff and let him walk for Melo.

Bad move, as I called it in the offseason.

Kieff also sucked

His jumper was never good besides for that little part in Detroit and the bubble

Was awful last year

He was an ok defender though

Would have loved Millsap, Jeff Green, or Rudy Gay

Realistically speaking, we’re stuck with Russ this year

Our positive assets: THT, Nunn

The others are just expiring salary fillers. Ellington may have some value

I think Nunn should be a solid fit, don’t see us moving him for no reason

And I doubt we give up on THT unless we are getting back a really solid win now guy or another young guy that may fit a bit better

PJ Washington?

He did not.

His ability to fit into the defensive scheme, along with his toughness/ goon availability were well worth it.

We will not agree on this.

There is more to an individuals play then making shots. Teams still respected his outside shot and nobody was going out of their way to hunt him on defense.

I (for one) appreciated his intangibles.

———-

We have a group of shot makers now, some of whom I view as absolute garbage (on a championship contender).
Don't believe the hype...

His advanced numbers aren’t great

I’d probably have Kieff over Melo too because Melo is such a bad defender

But if you have limited shooting and solid defenders, then maybe go with Melo

Was hoping Nunn would be back soon, but sadly we got a bad injury bug

Hope we see more Avery tonight and even Reeves

Monk was awful

Damn, that's a brutal start of the season. Knee bruses are also can linger for months

That really sucks. One of the only signees I actually envisioned playing well. Expect to see more Rondo.

Sad but true

I hope we play Avery and Reeves more instead of Rondo

At least we can let Russ have the ball more and have a bit more shooting and defense

Russ, Bazemore, Lebron, AD, DJ
Avery, Monk, Reeves, Melo, Dwight

Can play Rondo maybe a few min where Russ is out and Lebron is in

I don't know, they don't really need another ballhandler. Hope they trade him for House, Dort or someone like that

Is Nunn really a "ballhandler"?

He can play off the ball and has pretty good shooting stats in catch and shoot and in transition

But he can also create on the ball

He can't ever be the primary ball handler or that lineup will have issues

He should fit well next to Lebron or even Russ

Hoping we can get a guy like House for a couple expirings and some 2nds

I don't see why OKC would move Dort, but would love a lockdown defender like him

Watching this Wizards game, Dinwiddie would have been a great fit on this team. Can shoot off the dribble, beat his man off the dribble, and he's more than competent as a passer.

Not sure how you get a flagrant foul defending a 3 pt shot without crossing the 3 pt line.

Man his jumper has been completely dialed in. 8-14 on threes so far.

Melo is useless. Gives up open threes and can’t make anything on the other end. Ariza would have been useful here or of course Caruso in that rotation.

Refs have been awful. Clear as day offensive foul on CP on that fast break

NBA officiating is embarrassingly bad.

CP3's flopping is a disgrace to the game. It was already embarrassing to root for as a Clippers fan in the Lob City days and he's only gotten even more obnoxious since he left.

Hemorrhaging points with Lebron on the bench.

This team is so trash. Most predictable **** ever. Pelinka just went out and got a bunch of dipsh*t low IQ players

Lakers have no plan on offense. Why is Baze going one on one when AD is on the floor. AD hasn't touched the ball coming back

Lakers literally don’t have a good lineup. And when they go to the bench...it’s an offensive drought and zero defensive stops though they got a bit screwed with foul calls in this game. AD and James have to have playoffs type games to win given that every other player is literally at replacement level right now.
