The Spurs are crap.

This isn't news, I think. They were 26th on O and, even with Wemby, 22nd on D. They aren't competent. It shouldn't be surprising that they remain so. There haven't been THAT many changes, even with Paul.

Get Luka because teams prefer Ayton, Bagley and Trae over teenage Euroleague MVP
Go all in on Porzingis, becomes considered negative level contract, Porzingis future version ends up a would be great Luka fit
Get a future superstar in 2nd round in Brunson, make WCF, fumble the combo
Trade for persona non grata Kyrie out of desperation, somehow works perfectly behind scenes and relatively well health wise, make Finals
Luka gets fat for half a season, trade him for 31 year old AD

In another timeline they just win a Bucks/Nuggets like title eventually with Luka, Brunson and Porzingis?

Okay let me start by saying this... this trade was AWFUL. Noway Luka should only AD, a role player, and a 1st... that is highway robbery by LA

Anyways... Dallas doesn't look that bad. AD can finally play the 4.

Klay/Grimes
PJ/Marshall
AD
Lively/Gafford

They need to target a 3D wing who can slot in at the 3, and they got a great chance. That front court is DEEP.
