What status in all-time-players should James Harden get?

I am not a fan of him in the slightest. Some of y'all are ridiculously unreasonable and exercise little-to-no objectivity or critical thinking whatsoever.

the voters are the ones who playcate to the nba players who kiss ass and hop on their podcast. Not sure whose idea it was to tie potential supermax contracts to media voting. Its the main reason the marcus smart/porzingis deal was allowed to happen. Overinflate marcus smarts value with a fugazi DPOTY and sell him off to a team run by suckers and improve your roster by resigning the vastly superior derrick white. Its mostly the boston media and their power/influence that they use on other citites to create these all-nba teams. Why luka can miss the playoffs altogether and still make all-nba 1st team

It's the aesthetic factor. We often see it with people hyping up their favourite players and casting them to be greater than they actually are because from an aesthetics standpoint, Player X appeals to them. This is no different, it's just the inverse.

Again, I don't like Harden's game, I never have. But it got things done at an elite level for a sustained period of time.

A present-day example of this is someone like Shai; people hate the foul-baiting and all. What Shai has going for him that Harden did not, however, is that Shai's a significantly better defender than Harden was, both in terms of ability as well as availability on that side of the court.

Harden is one of the most underrated players of all time. I don’t get the amount of scrutiny he gets, it’s actually really insane. He doesn’t escape my T6 offensive players ever list.
