Nash efficiency at rim is amazing, almost as good as LeBron's so it's very unlikely Isiah was better here.

Played on vastly better defensive teams, even relative to their respective era. This lends plausibility to the claim that he was a better individual defender.


He was better defender but it doesn't matter much when we are comparing point guards. Pistons weren't great defensively because they had Isiah.

ElGee, Mysticbb,

I checked the numbers and I'm not wrong. Maybe you are using other formula for possessions than from b-r? Or other data source than game log from b-r? Maybe that would explain differences because team game logs at b-r had one flaw - some number of turnovers is missing. So if we sum turnovers from team game log it would be different number than total team turnovers on main team page.
