Yes, now that lilroddyb made his first two picks, everything is getting back to normal (you are going back to your normal position, which is #6, so there are still 8 guys making their selections before you in this round - the fact that you had #10 pick in the first round was because you were late with your first pick, it's not going to be a standard thing for you - unless you plan on being late every time, that is, but I don't expect you to do so  ).

For order, look at the pic in the Draft Thread OP.

BTW, for those of us who have set years already, is this choice final or would we be given time to adjust it?

Not 100% sure, but I believe Q mentioned you being able to change them.

It's the gap between picks. I'm totally expecting everyone I want to be gone by the next time I pick and if I had to guess Spacemen is going to grab one of them and Doc MJ is taking the other.

You have zero room to complain with a starting two of Nash and Walton. Your O is gonna be 125+ guaranteed. Well, that probably won't mean as much in this league, everyone is likely to push 115 at the least. The mid-picks are probably the best. The back to back is nice at the end, but I think mid is best.

I say we just forego the draft and let E-Balla take every player he wants.

to my knowledge you can change any time until playoffs start as long as you're under the FGA limit

I was pining for Kevin Durant so hard I accidentally hired Scotty Brooks.

Now you're thinking with your head Spaceman! So we agree I get the next 6 picks right? :D

Some really nice pairings so far. My favorite pairings so far are Dirk/Drob and KD/KG

That's true, you can change years whenever you want (you have to say your final word about it when the draft is over, so there's still a lot of time for that).

I love E-Balla's Walton/Nash duo, too. Absolutely insane basketball IQ, phenomenal playmakers, and two of the most unselfish superstars ever.

How much can you use Walton's high post passing with Nash on the team tho?

Look at Boris Diaw in the 2005-06 season - he averaged 6.2 apg mainly as a mid/high post playmaker, with Nash playing at his peak level, and it led to the second best offense in the league.

Walton and Nash would be fine.

Walton and Nash would be fine.

Plus in 07 he averaged 4.8 and with Amare scoring back they had the top offense. Walton only averaged 3.8 apg that year and Nash played with Diaw and Barbosa so I think he's proven he can play without totally dominating the ball (plus he's a beast shooter).

Also I think I'm picking up Hondo and Kevin Love and calling my team the Coco Butter All Stars.

I look at Walton as a gap-filler. Maybe his half-court playmaking takes on a secondary role, but when I look at how effectively he synergies with that Celtics team- mainly by finishing around the basket, offensive rebounding at a ridiculous rate, playing hi-low with McHale/Bird, setting screens everywhere, and just generally being a genius badass who's intellect was matched only by Bird and Einstein.

Picture this: Walton ripping a rebound off the rim and immediately rifling a full court pass to a streaking Nash before his feet come back down.

Damn I should just write up E-Balla's team.

That's a brilliant conclusion. Exactly what came to my mind. I guess the same can be said about LA Bird's team, considering he also has two of your favorite players. On the other hand, I never thought about you as a big Magic guy, I was definitely surprised that you took him over guys like Russell, Garnett, Robinson and Walton, considering all of them were available at your spot.

I was expecting Spaceman to take either Curry or Garnett.

Magic was first on my list for guys I wanted to build around because you could build with him at 4 different positions effectively and he had a super high FTR. I never thought Spaceman would pass on the great defensive/passing bigs though but I think he has another big that fits that mold in mind knowing how he thinks.

And if anyone wants to create a write up for the Coco Butter All Stars you can. My team is open to adoration from any and all onlookers.
