I'm not so sure the -13 is accurate in terms of how well he played. I would guess he played more minutes with unfavorable matchups while other guys got rest.

I would have to look at it more, but looking at raw plus minus can be very flawed.

Also, he got 20 points on those shots, played excellent defense throughout, and was clutch shooting in the 4th.

Yeah, in watching the game he looked like the best player on the floor — or at the very least the best player on Houston.

The -13 isn't indicative of how he played true, but neither does how people are talking about him today. He was virtually non-existent in the first half, and save for a few epic shots from range, didn't do much offensively overall and was wildly inefficient.

Clint Capela and P.J. Tucker were the best players for Houston last night I thought, and probably the best two players for either team.

Paul's play making was great in that first half! Not his fault nobody could hit a 3 when he passed it out to wide open people...

His stats are very similar to Stockton. Just saying.

I'd still rather have CP3 on my Team. Btw Paul didn't lose that series by himself, and if you want to laugh at someone laugh at Harden considering he's the one in his prime right now having never been to the finals one time since leaving OKC.

I'm not even a fan of either team but CP3 was awful. Easily the biggest let down of the playoffs. Your a max player hall of Famer and that's all you can do? Wasnt even the a top 3 option for his own squad. I saw Tucker doin more work the CP3s sorry ass.

Also put himself in the running for worst current NBA contracts. You pay a guy that much just to average at best? At least Harden was gettin his. What's CPS excuse?

Hyperbole is fun. But anyway, given this thread was started 12 months ago, it'd be disingenuous to suggest this question/statement still bears the same relevance or is as cogent as it was at that time. Locking it.
