These last two picks are coming in tight with the 85 FGA limit. Not a big pool of players good enough for rosters like these with super low FGAs. Dr. P is already at 84.4 with 1 selection left, although I'm sure he'll end up changing one of those years.

I'm really hoping that my value picks early on lead to a strong bench unit. Even if it's 8 or 10 minutes, playing subpar guys against all-time greats is gonna turn ugly.

I'm not totally against a 0.6 FGA player for 8 minutes

We won't know until we see the complete and finalized version of these teams. But considering talent, fit, and draft position; Moses Malone to Texas Chuck has to be my favorite so far. Damn.

Thanks mate. I've enjoyed putting it together, but you never know how others will see your vision.

I sure hope a certain czech guard is selected in the last round...

Great pick. I was hoping he'd get to round 7 for me.

I mean you got an MVP in round 7. :D
I like your team very much. Though I have my doubts about lack of classic PG.
What I mean is Ginobili was a better passer but Parker was certainly better running the offense.
The issue with per75 numbers;
36pts on 27 fga/9 fta in 36 mins, does this mean he'd keep up the efficiency to get 48pts on 36fga/12fta in 48 mins?
The answer; NO. He's human, not a linearly working machine.
Per75 is efficiency rate, not actual production.

I drafted Moses once, and then in the playoffs someone pulled out some old posts from a respected poster (forget the name), who completely eviscerated Moses in them. Ruined my chances lol

Was he next to KG and AK47 on your roster?

I thought about taking Moses and a cheaper version of Lillard instead of Mutombo but I don't know how people view Moses.

let's not bring that up lol. And there is actually an active thread on the board killing him right now.

Don't worry I still have 3.3 FGA to get a classic PG :D And there is actually the perfect backup guy that I hope gets there that I can afford.

But definitely counting on playmaking by committee.

Come on, this thread doesn't kill him at all. Only some people think so :D

I love Moses pick, I thought about this one but decided to go with lower FGA and Artis Gilmore. Moses is a monstrous add to your team though, it looks like much upgraded version of 1983 Philly and Moses thrived in that team.

Guys I'm going to have to step away in a minute.

I believe we're past Dutchball's allotted time. Should I post my pick, or you cool with waiting longer?

Go ahead and pick. Missing a deadline isn't the end of the world at this stage anyway.

Okay, done. Thank you Fadeaway_J, and Dutchball97, I'm sorry if this messes you up.

Cheers,

Raja is a freaking steal. I was thinking about him when I took Christie. Just Christie came cheaper in terms of FGA and gave me some playmaking which I need with no traditional PG. But I love Raja Bell. And I like that its his Mav season. That was such a fun Mav team with the big 3, but also NVE, Raef, Najera, Raja. Such a shame that the Nelsons broke it up. 03 is probably my 2nd favorite Mavs team ever after 11 of course. 04 definitely my least favorite Mavs team of the Dirk era.

Raja could definitely handle rotation minutes for sure. Couldn't do much on offense yet but could knock down corner 3's already. Also I think I remember a story told about him when he was a Mav playing in a league with his dad before catching on in the NBA where his dad was the leading scorer? Can anyone confirm this?

No worries man. I think it was like 6 or 7 PM ET when I went to bed so I understand going on with the draft.
