Westbrook skips team defense. Often goes for a stroll while the other team is zipping the ball around instead of reading the possession and prerotating. His negative rating in this game is the most accurate i've seen the +- describe a performance in a looong time. It's usually just random noise.

Ellington, Monk, DAJ, Melo all unplayble in the playoffs. That's a third of rotation

Yeah this is a rare case where single game +/- really does accurately reflect how a guy's played. He's been completely useless.

They better hope THT will make a progress during the year and Ariza is still servicable after the injury, cuz otherwise they have like 2 role players

Not really—LeBron and AD looked very good and they couldn’t build a substantial lead even with Curry being shut down. The preseason games exposed the same issues with one drought leading to a blown game with awful defenders in the rotation at every spot other than James, Davis, and Bazemore, maybe Russ.

I would like to say Russ can’t be this bad every game, but LITERALLY the only way he’s decent is if they’re playing five out and he’s got the ball in his hand all the time and even then he doesn’t look like he can do anything.

Not sure why Lakers panicked the way they did when they had some of the best lineups last year when healthy. AD and LeBron have to play 40+ minutes per game at playoff intensity to cover for the garbage from the others sans Bazemore.

Not only useless but below a replacement level player. He’s been astonishingly bad. If he can be what he was last year and AD and James play like this, there’s hope bur they’re not title contenders like this. Put KCP and Caruso in this game and they win by double digits.

Gonna be another season of LeBron getting **** on from all angles for "declining" despite playing well and having his season ruined by horrible teammates. **** you Pelinka.

Fire up the Russ trades

What team would want this guy or give us multiple bad contracts back

Need to give it some time. It's frustrating but Westbrook will be better than this.

Remember Lakers were without a number of players that were meant to be in the rotation.

LA is his final stop lol. There's no team in the league that would take him, even OKC

Last years guard core was air tight defensively. Everywhere you turn there is a hole now.

Just disgusting.

I can’t believe the Lakers were up 85-76 with 1:20 left in the third with all the **** play and then gave up most of the lead going into the fourth primarily based on Westbrook and of course two missed free throws by AD that killed them. Why can’t he shoot FTs anymore?

Who the hell is gonna want to trade for a bottom 50 player on a 44 million dollar contract lmao. Pelinka is the only GM stupid enough to fall for it the third time, I can't even see the Cavs/Wolves stooping that low. Westbrook's not even fool's gold at this point, he's straight dookie and it's plain as day. He's gonna stink things up in LA these next two years and then he's either out of the league or an end of bench novelty guy like old TMac.

The fact that Avery Bradley might play 15mins from now on is hilarious

Also hilarious that the Lakers gave up a first rounder in the Westbrook trade

The 20 team with Danny too.

If Caruso posts elite impact stats and Chicago meets or exceeds expectations im gonna be sick. Kcp will always be underappreciated too

Also if you guys think this is bad just wait til THT comes back and Vogel starts playing him major minutes lmao. It's so over.

Likely, but I want to think outside the box to just have some hope

I just don't see what we can do

I don't see CLE helping, but would much rather have Love and filler (Cedi?) for Russ and 4 2nds

Avery, Bazemore, Lebron, Love, AD
Nunn, THT, Ariza, Melo, Dwight
Rondo, Cedi

Looks like we can cross off Monk from ever having a chance

THT is much better than some of the guys playing tonight

He is a solid man defender

Bad off the ball, but hoping Vogel has worked with him

Much rather play Avery than Monk (from how he played tonight)
