I cannot overstate just how much I appreciate this quote. ESPN has been helplessly self-reinforcing with their "stories" that just violate basic journalistic integrity. Shameful. Just because it works--by virtue of it generating clicks--doesn't mean that it's a necessity in business. Integrity and reputability go a long way for many, and ESPN has lost all of whatever it ever had in those departments.
