All of the Lakers' hopes still pin on Lebron James being a clear top 3 player.

It's too early to draw conclusions if he'll improve from last season.

Mike Brown must be loving the creativity on offense from the Lakers.

They've only run it a few times but the Clippers are just switching it, and Bron and AD's defenders are too like sized to create a huge mismatch to iso against. I would expect most teams to defend it this way.

As I expected... Lebron + AD are quite good on offense... but the Lakers look pretty bad on defense. They really need a secondary playmaker as I wouldn't want to run LBJ into the ground just to get a decent seed/make the playoffs.

Clippers are going to be a problem for the league when PG comes back; that is one deep team.

Lebron's obviously had a terrible game, but the good news is he looks pretty solid physically. Doesn't seem any worse athletically than last season.

LeBron's moving well out there. He's not jumping great, but I expect that to get better with time.

Needs to make some jumpers though. Clippers have done a good job protecting the paint on his drives.

Bron has been too passive tonight. He's been trying to force it to AD too much. Once those two get things figured out though...

Too many LeBron teams have become overly dependent on him. I don't think he can carry anymore like he could before. He needs to work to establish offense that isn't just him making things happen.
