Literally the first second of game I watched since lockdown and kuzma misses a wide open 3. It’s like the season never stopped..

Also ADs gone full kuzma with his hair

Bad half overall by LeBron scoring wise.

Yes he didn't get as many calls as he should. But it feels like he's too slow right now and with no jumper.

You gotta hope it’s just rust. When you’re up there in age though 4 months can feel like 4 years on your body. But I’m thinking he just needs more in game reps to get his shot and handle back. Also he needs to bust out of some of those little old man tricks he used against LAC and MIL last time.

He’s 35 and this is his first game back from a 4.5 month layoff so this is what I expected. Just think of what he usually looks like at the start of the season. That’s basically the lay-off he just had.

Howard has been garbage against the Clippers every single game this season.

Vogel benched him for Morris in the last win, but I guess he forgot. He was a major negative yet again.

I am not sure I trust Vogel for a deep playoff run (to be honest with you). He got a little too cute with the rotation in that first half.

JR Smith?

It took him about 55-60 games to start looking good before the pandemic halted the season. A 4.5 month layoff basically means we are at the beginning of a new season. This is not going to be pretty.

Yet he’s played surprisingly good defense imo, save for the foul on Kawhis shot

That’s a bit much. He gave effort and did about as good as you could expect (which is not much).

George and Kawhi were going at him, drawing fouls and getting to the basket. A few open shots were created because of blow by drives that collapsed the defense in direct isolations on Kuzma.

Hopefully he can keep up the effort and not be a liability.

He's looked really good defensively in this game, the most concerning thing is his jumper IMO. There's always the chance of it going 2015.

Also he can't buy a call at all, the refs are calling absolutely everything in this game except when Lebron gets hacked going to the rim.

LeBron looks the worst of the 4 stars in this game. A hot PG is a scary thing.

I think this short season will play a lot more like a lockout season than the first part of this season. Slower pace, lower FG%, sloppy offense in general. Physical teams will probably do better than the finesse ones.

Lakers are looking completely clueless. LeBron should force it. Or AD. Nothing is working for them. Put JR Smith in and let him shoot a bunch of 3s. Who knows.

The Clippers aren't giving him anything easy in the halfcourt. If his shot isn't there against them there's little he can do against all their length and recovery speed.

LeBron is getting thoroughly abused by Kawhi in this game.

The Clippers are killing these bums without two 20 point bench scorers.

LOL.

Lakers have no shot, nothing to see here.

Lakers can't beat this team if LBJ isn't the best on the floor.

We all expected James to struggle after a long break, but this is a level beyond struggling. He’s playing the way that his haters say he always plays.
