LeBron about to pull off an unlikely comeback and Westbrook comes in with a few momentum killing plays

Yep, you know how some guys occasionally show up for national tv games in playoff form? That was Westbrook's. Total bull in china shop every time it counts.

I've defended Russ and I see potential from him in games recently but this game from him was awful. All the worst sides of him came out.

I just know when the Lakers get dismantled in the PS, I am going to hear how about it is unacceptable that Lebron let his team lose when Russell Westbrook averaged a triple-double. I just know.

At least the rock bottom realization is coming well in advance of the trade deadline.

They have to get past the playins first its honestly not unreasonable they miss the playoffs.

If they see a healthy Wolves in the playin tournament specially if Minnesota has a better record..........that could be ugly

other playin teams

Mavs with Luka prolly in shape and Kp looking healthy
Nuggets with Murray prolly back

Even Spurs/Blazers wont be easy and if they have to play them that means theyll have to win 1 more playin game as Portland/Sa will top out as 10 seed

Can you imagine Bron in Chicago replacing Demar?

Demar never gets doubled and barely has to play defense with how lethal their perimeter defense is

current Bron in that system makes Bulls title favorites IMO

Stanley Johnson actually fulfills a need for this team and needs to be extended for the season. Can’t shoot but a great small ball 5 with Lebron

Could be just one game because Johnson has always been kind of a bonehead but he was hustling out there in that small ball lineup. Additionally Collison actually looked pretty good considering that he hasn’t played in a few years and the instincts are still there, and it might be possible to play himself into good shape. He already does some things better than Westbrook does. Lakers might’ve lucked into decent players. There might be some thing there when he also throwing Ariza, Reaves, and Nunn.

Yeah he’s somehow a vet that’s out of the league but realizing he’s only 25 was mind blowing

Kind of reminds me of Derrick Williams on the 17 cavs who was honestly kind of killer for them with Lebron and then disappeared

I'm the only one who doesn't hate THT probably. He just playing in the absolute worst situation, on a team with no offensive system, with bottom 5 offense, with a point guard who can't shoot, move without the ball or even run basic offensive sets. In a paralel universe, he's playing with Danny Green and KCP on the wings and doing just fine. On this team, he's used like a 3nD guy, and he's clearly isn't that

Westbrook is an unbelievable watch. Almost 1k games at the pg position and he hasn't learned anything. How is it even possible? Wade on his last legs was 10x times better than him at running the point

I wish we could have seen Lebron and Davis play a game or two this season without Westbrook.

IT-Rondo-West-Melo-Lebron,

is this LA romanticism? What kind of fantasy is this?

Definitely not but the Westbrook trade is a big part of why they're relying on most of these players.

I will say it’s hard to feel bad for LeBron when he pushed for Westbrook in the first place.

I don’t care what anyone says, I’ll never believe that LeBron was the one who pushed for Westbrook. That has AD written all over it.

Even if he did, Westbrook isn’t even really the problem. LeBron has played fine with Westbrook. The problem is the players dips*** Pelinka surrounded them with. LeBron wasn’t the one who refused to pay the tax to resign Caruso. He wasn’t the one who refused to sign any wings. We’ve seen Pelinka for several off seasons now and he’s made bad move after bad move. LeBron isn’t the one who puts together the atrocious lineups. The problem was trading for Westbrook and then surrounding him with players who don’t fit with him. A traditional big and THT alongside Westbrook is just asking for a disaster.
