They shouldve won this one.... next game could be ugly. After an 8/14 shooting night from 3 hes bound to regress.....right?

Howard was playing well also.

I am just sick of Fizdale. His small ball is a gimmick that is not sustainable. An old team on the second night of a back to back should not have to be running around playing rat ball.

They never give Lebron free throws on a missed 3 like Curry and Harden get if you breathe on them, so I was surprised when he finally got that call, of course refs overturned it even though it looked like a clear foul. Anyways that decided the game.

Russ is such a cancer on this team

Sick of constantly blowing clutch layups

THT too young and bad fit

Same story EVERY night

**** this team

Can’t believe Bron and AD wanted this loser

Maybe if Pelinka had done his job properly and gotten Lowry 1st, we wouldn’t have even been in this spot

Missed another open layup in the clutch.

The miss was bad, but the lack of awareness to pull it out and get a good shot was worse.

Busting out going for the one man break is not what you do in the clutch. If you do, you better make it.

LeBron was on fumes at the end of that game. As bad as his late turnover was, I thought that the offensive tip in he gave up to Morant was worse.

Every quick guard is feasting on Lakers.

Back to back nights, played 40 minutes last night and was gassed. Lakers lost this game in the last two minutes of the 2nd quarter (54-41 lead went to 54-48 with bricks and turnovers) and at the end of the third. Westbrook shot the ball too soon at the end of the third giving Memphis an extra possession

You’re right about this. On top of that, Lakers got 8 FTs while Memphis got 29 and the Lakers should have run away with this. LeBron’s arm looks like it was pulled on that last turnover that should have been a foul.

Westbrook is a **** loser through and through. 4th team in a row he's destroyed.

Melo and TradeHimToday too

Is why it took the league so long to adopt smallball, coaches with tunnel vision totally destroying its reputation. Take the lead and switch back don't put carmelo and 5 when the other team has Ja and Adams. Holy hell that was dumb.

Russ takes too much flak on here. He plays with energy and has been decent. He has low IQ lapses that are easy to focus on but mostly he does good things over the game.

The main issue is 10m on THT and the reliance of one way role players that if they don't shoot well then they can really hurt you since their defense and intangibles are poor.

Russ was pretty good on the whole tonight but these low IQ plays…like at the end of third when he should have let the clock run down a lattice more if he’s going to take the shot anyway. That gave Memohis a chance at 2 points.

Will like to see what Ariza and Reaves can do. They lost tonight but played well and played with a lead against a good team on a road back to back. Progress. 29-8 FTA edge is difficult to overcome.

Yeah, no reason not to give Dwight a bit more run tonight.

Monk's been a fairly pleasant surprise for me so far this season.

Don't mean to be rude, but why do people keep on saying this when it's not relevant? Its from the same school as "X is a nice guy". Energy is only useful insofar as it leads to effectiveness and impact, and he's not been all that impactful.

Also just not true on defence.

That was a natural shooting motion from LeBron, everyone's legs kick out a bit on fadeaways. If that rule had been in place for the past 20 years, every Kobe jumper would've been an offensive foul.

Rob Pelinka should be arrested for the crimes he committed during the off-season.

It is relevant on a team that is struggling entirely on effort and energy based aspects of basketball. Rebounds and forcing turnovers. You don't have to be particularly skilled for that but the whole team needs to bring energy to it.

Russ once again was not efficient, had a ton of turnovers and was awful on D

His energy is not there on defense

The big plays he **** up are HUGE and kill our momentum and energy

That blown dunk/layup changed and ruined the whole game

Fizdale is AWFUL, makes me thankful for Vogel (who should be back any minute...been 10 days)

Russ was actually making good passes last night with Bron, but you can't win with this sort of inconsistency and lack of IQ

I wonder if Wall woud be better as we could tell him to come off the bench and let Nunn start when he is back

Let Bron be the pg again like 2020

THT just can't shoot and we need that

Pelinka better do some magic to fix this **** ups

Man if we had Lowry and Caruso rn instead of Russ, THT...
