A catastrophic injury is the only thing that can stop him, imho. He turns 40 in three years. Three years ago he was in his first year as a Laker. So, the decline between his first LA season and now is the decline we’ve seen in three years. There’s been some decline. He’s no longer the clear cut best in the NBA. But he’s still absolutely elite. I think he can still be elite in another three years.

Yeah Caruso, KCP, DeRozan, LeBron, Davis could have been the team but they would have been hard-capped.

too early to know. You don't trade Rondo and not have a replacement guard till Nunn comes back so he might still be in your plans but just inactive. Ariza and stanley johnson have to be fit in to the rotation so coaching might want to introduce the pieces methodically.

You don’t do a lot of things, but the Lakers seem to do them anyway lol. Just seems weird to have him inactive. I glanced at my TV and saw dreads, thought DJ was in the game, and about chucked my remote out the window
