KG/Scottie is easily better defensively. Scottie > Payton with out much question, and I think KG is a bit better defensively than Big Tim too.

KG/Scottie is more versatile true. But, I just can't seem to bring myself to admit that there might be a better defensive duo than Duncan/Payton lol

I hope this isn't going to be one of those drafts where defense gets overrated

Of course the guy who took Barkley is going to say defense is overrated.

If RCDS_ doesn't draft by 7:40 AM EST (5 and a half hours from now) then you get to pick.

I think it was already suggested in the discussion but just to get it straight - we are allowed to use the current season for say a player who played almost every game over the last 2 seasons and almost every game this season, right? This would include 3rd-year players as well since the only way to include them in this project is to use the current season. Basically they already meet the % criterion, and seeing how this draft could take a while, they would have played probably 50+ games from the current season by the time we are finished.

I have two players in mind that I think could be picked in these last two picks. Let's see!

I'm pissed I didn't get Grant Hill. I wanted a former Piston to rep my team! Plus, he was the best SF left. Oh well, Paul Pierce is a solid consolation prize. He's a well rounded player and can space the floor for my team. I'm really hoping for one guy in particular to fall to my next pick. I can't wait to see how this draft goes.

Oh, I didn't expect my boy the Truth to go that high. Nice to see he gets some credit. :) I'm sure he'd be a great second fiddle to Hakeem. They'd be extremely difficult to slow down because both can do pretty much everything on the offensive end and both are unselfish.

How about Shaq/Hill vs Hakeem/Pierce? Which duo is better? Honestly, I love both Grant and Paul and can't really decide. O'Neal and Olajuwon debate is very close as well. I think I'd give a slight edge for Dream and Truth for their outside shooting, but it's extremely close.

Really interested to see who Narigo takes to pair up with Jordan here.

All eyes on Narigo, so much pressure on him, time marches on inexorably...will he show us his clutchness? Will he be able to handle all this pressure? Are we going to get Russell'd?

Yeah, if they've played 75% of the last two, and 75% of their team's games by the time our playoffs start and you declare the years. Not 75% of 82, but 75% of however many games their team has played.

He should make it interesting and choose Wizard's Jordan.

Dikembe and Pierce both went higher than I thought.

I think Shaq and Hill are better players than their counter parts, but Hakeem and Paul I think would have some really good chemistry.
