LeBron was arguably the best player in the second round - from all series - so I don't know where this idea that Houston made him uncomfortable came from. He got what he wanted, when it wanted it.

That said, he hasn't been his usual self in the Conference Finals. Although he has still been comfortably the third best player in the series.

Houston and Denver have both shown they can make him really uncomfortable trying to score in the half court when they pack the paint for his driving lane and go under the screen on the PnR to dare him to take the pull up three, and both teams have even better coaching and even better personnel to execute the scheme.

Its not really new though, the lakers roster wasnt positioned well and it led to single defenders able to cover multiple guys

Houstan did something similar game one but when we went 5 oht it didnt work. Lebron kind of adjusted at the end too, very end and just needs to pass out a bit earlier

I wonder how many more times Mcgee is going to tank the team before Vogel makes the tough decision to pull the plug on him. His impact since the Rockets series has bordered on disaster. His plus minus is redeemed by having all his minutes overlap with Lebron and/or AD but man does the offense grind to a halt when he's out there and is becoming harder to explain as mere coincidence

Denver really missed a big chance here. Now they're getting swept.

I don't know man. I still think this is going 6.

Yeah that comeback made it clear this is going to be a long series, if not in games then at least in the level of play required out of the Lakers. The Nuggets will not roll over, and Jokic seems to have figured stuff out in the second half.

I think what Jokic figured out is that he needs to put his head down and take what the Lakers are giving him, which is postup buckets. The problem is that it tires him out because he's gonna have to do that against McGee, Howard, and AD, all on single coverage, and he'll split the success doing so with them. The thing is that this is exactly what the Lakers want him to do: muck it out and look to score inside more than pass out of doubles or pop out for 3s. If Jokic plays the way the Lakers are forcing him to, he's gonna get tired much quicker doing that or he's gonna be more passive, which in both cases plays right into the Lakers' hands.

As such, I don't see this going more than 5 games, if not a sweep tbh. I expect LeBron to have a great game tonight.

He posted up quite a bit against those bigs though. If he continues to go the switch route, which I suspect they will also do of course, I think the Lakers have shown a consistent ability in these playoffs to rotate really well and contest outside shooters decently.

It just hit me that LeBron is older than MJ his last year with the Bulls.

I feel so blessed having watched him for this long

No but jokic quite literally had 4 points and 1 assist when guarded by AD or dwight lol, he went like 0.66ppp including passes as well

Murray is at a point similar to Steph and Klay where I'm positive he's hitting every open 3.

What a pass by Rondo.

Does LeBron usually go out this early?

Guess that explains the lack of Lebron's midrange shooting this year.

Sometimes Vogel's brain just doesn't work

Why is Mcgee still in?

He is getting bullied

Dwight should be in

I am fine even with Dwight coming off the bench, but he needs to play more min than Mcgee this series
