Friend of mind is looking for it. It's on youtube as of today but it's a Spanish broadcast.

I found a guy who has the 1981 series Games 1-3 of the Rockets vs the Lakers. He is sending them to me now. Not sure when they will arrive, but then I will be out of touch for a few weeks going to Germany for some time.

as a ballplayer myself that has tried to emulate a lot of the footwork mj had, one of the most amazing skills mj had and one of the many things i couldn't begin to emulate, was the things he did off of a drop-step.

no one ever talks about it, but his capability off of a drop step was BY FAR the GOAT... most guys drop step and go up and just shoot it or maybe they can dunk if they are open enough... no big deal... with mj, it was an EVENT when he drop-stepped... the things he could do to a defender off a drop-step.. take bumps, dipsy do's, switch hands, hang like a MOTHERF*%#er, just do things to defenders that virtually no on in the history of the game did.

here are a few plays of exactly what i'm talking about.. check out the 1:31 mark and right after that the 1:35 mark (remember, off a drop-step.. most guys need momentum first to do these things):

just baptizing defenders.. it must have felt a little weird defending mj and he does this to you... like, no one in history did this stuff, so it must have felt unique.
