Pelicans without Zion, Warriors without Curry/Wiggins/Dray, Timberwolves without KAT...a lot of teams missing key players. No reason Lakers can't be competitive too

Am a bit worried what they look like without DLo too though.

No playmaking outside of Schroeder and Reaves.

This is where trading Bev for Bamba hurts a little more.

They will end up pick up Wall from waivers.. just watch

Bev was not a playmaker lol

Lol ya idk who thinks Bev is a playmaker

He can dribble and pass a bit, but obviously below avg as a playmaker

I would have loved his defense here though on this team

1% dream scenario if we are to miss the playoffs is both the Pels and Lakers miss the playoffs and get the #1 and #2 pick

He isn't a lead playmaker but he's a secondary one. He hasn't had that role on Lakers but on Wolves he had an AST% only a little less than DLo.

What's Lance been upto these days? He's always good for a two week stretch before the crazy kicks in.

Time to pick up Lin from Taiwan.

As long as Russell comes back soonish I think they'll be fine for a while without LeBron. Russell/Beasley/Rui/Vanderbilt/Davis is a decent unit.

It's terrible, it was a huge concern for me that he was going to miss at least several weeks

But the season is not over if Davis plays at a high level and Russell comeback soon....

This news was a real gut punch especially as the team looked the best it’s had in years. However after thinking bout it I don’t think it entirely changes everything. For context neither do bookies so that’s important to note. We were 33/1 pre Dallas game , went to 25/1, then 23/1 a bit after. Gone to 28/1 with injury news but kinda confirms that it’s expected 2-3 weeks: bookies always seem to know details about injuries.

This team has had a few dominant wins even with Lebron going 5-20. I’m hoping Dlo was only out as a caution and returns : he’ll be important for us now. Team is better then ore deadline team was with Lebron . AD finally seems back to normal : his epm droppped from top 5 to out of top 20 but last few games his gone back up to top 14. Huge defensive impact , and been scoring decently . My worry is lack of quality set up for him but let’s see. Dlo is a worse passer than Westbrook but his shooting should compensate.

Tonight is our hardest remaining game. Tommorow we play okc ( who are also on b2b but atleast at home for them ) that game is more important. Lots of these teams above is been going to **** , and this small win streak I think means they really need only play .500 ball to be in it till Bron is back . Someone wrote 9 games , if they go 5-4 in this stretch they’re still in it. Sadly very little shot of a 6 seed anymore just have to hope to scrape in via play in. Gotta hope the reports about Bron indicate he’s back in 2-3 weeks . No reason to give up completely yet.

Just feels like this team is cursed. Whenever things start to look up, either AD or Bron gets hurt. I guess that's to be expected when your two best players are historically injury-prone and 38 years old

Testing, 1 2 3.

Just making sure this works for when someone tags you with news later.

Well I hope the Lakers don't start losing like crazy and he can come back 2 weeks from now.

I'll admit I'd like to see at least one last good playoff run from LeBron, even if the Lakers don't win it all (they're actually a franchise I don't like so... I can't commit to supporting them completely even if I like LBJ :lol: )I'd like to see him perform good in a long run at 38.

I don't think he has recover from the ankle injury back in 2021 against the hawks....He has problem with the ankle since this time,Before that,in 2020 he was out for only 4 games and only 1-2 games in 2021 before this hawks game

I think he will miss 10-12 games
@MEM
@OKC
MIN
GSW
MEM
TOR
NY
@NO
@HOU
DAL
ORL
PHX

7-5 or 6-6 record is fairly realistic

Ya I think you are right on games missed

Mem-L
OKC w/o Shai looks like-W
Min-Toss up, but W
GS-L
Mem-L
Tor-L
NY-L
NO-W
Hou-W
Dal-L
Orl-W
PHX-L

Maybe we can steal 1-2 of the GS/Mem/Tor/NY games, but can also see us losing 1 of the "W" games as well

Need D'lo back

I would maybe look to sign a ball handler/shot creator right now

Would it be too much if he came back at least against New York?
