Rondo played like a traditional point guard who tries to find his teammates in best spots, Westbrook played isolation scorer and off-ball cutter role. How is that similar?

In game 3 when the lakers got the 21 point lead, it was basically off spamming rondo going hyper-speed and a bunch of early clock possessoins shots. As an alternate they
d have ad slowly bring the ball up for and iso and then just shoot over the defender or kick out for a three. It's just like how the rox would run westbrook and harden.

What? Tell me when Davis played high P&Rs and attack from perimeter to make defense collapse and find open shooter. Davis didn't play like Harden at any point of this series.

Whenever lebron went off?

That's not Morey's ball though, just because someone plays isolations doesn't mean that teams play like Houston. Davis didn't play like Harden at all.

What? Isn't morey ball when you altenrate a super fast paced drive and kick with slow paced and surround both with a bunch of shooters? That's been the rockets bread and butter, at least since the chris paul trade anyway.

Is MPJ basically what would've happened of Detroit drafted Melo?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone miss a shot when they're showing the railcam view.

I wonder if he can make anything out of the mismatched pieces Philly has. If he can make their offense hum and just rely on Embiid and Simmons to be inherently great on defense, that's a really dangerous team.

Yeah, Houston is done anyway. This CP3/Westbrook trade was their last ditch effort to compete for the title. They even tried to maximize their effectiveness by going small and it didn't work. Simply not enough talent and/or versatility.

I don't see how they turn this around, regardless of who's coaching, since they simply don't have the flexibility to move players around and bring in another star player along Harden. Which is essentially a requirement nowadays to compete for the title.

Lakers are gonna run through the Clips. Their lack of rim protection and playmaking is about to be exposed badly. Vogel is really gonna coach circles around Doc too

What's the most games a team has played facing elimination in one playoff run? Denver's at 5 with a potential 6th coming :o .

I think Denver might already have the record. It doesn't happen all that often. '05 Pistons faced 4. '94 Knicks as well.

The 1988 Lakers had 3 seven-game series. They faced 4 elimination games.

I think the one of the 90s Rockets teams had a bunch of elimination games. Looking it up, 3 in 1994 and 4 in 1995.

Could be that 4 was the previous record.

Ahh, there was a six, though I think it's the only one. 1997 Heat.

'70 Lakers had 5, nobody else not mentioned that I can find.

Jokic is so good. He definitely deserves a top 5 vote this year, even if the Nuggets lose in game 7

Jokic remind anyone of Dirk with some of the shots he's made this quarter? Particularly his second 3 when he came back in and then the turnaround jumper out of timeout?

I really hope this opens peoples eyes to just how at the mercy you are of the players around you.

The Kawhi Clippers remind me so much of CP3’s Clippers it’s actually sickening me.

Kawhi’s legacy will take a big hit the next couple years. But it really shouldn’t.

Lol the fact that this is going to 7 after being down 3-1 might be the worst Rivers choke yet. Dude is not a good coach, but they’ll win game 7 so I guess he’ll forever be overrated.

I've seen enough to conclude Jokic is the best offensive big man of all-time, so skilled and resilient to any kind of defense. He's still a C who can't protect a rim with a high level though so building a contender around him will be tricky.

This is really the first time Kawhi has been tested as a leader and he's not doing too well. He always had other players or coaches to handle that. The Clippers' season long approach has been iffy.
