He is going through a rough patch these days. It's like he lost some confidence out of nowhere. Gotta wake-up soon.

Didnt he block Davis one on one and score on him last month in the clutch?

IIRC his rim protection stats are pretty ridiculous so far this season

Its crazy how much Okc played him as a wing on defense when it was obvious for a long time his strengths would be

What do people think about his rim-protection in comparison to someone like LeBron? At max effort from both guys it seems like he doesn't have the athleticism but he has the length. I think for this season he is put into a more volume role than LeBron but what do you guys think?

He's been a monstrous rim protector this year. Like top-5 in the league good - which measures up quite well to LeBron at his best. He had a LeBron-like finals block last night against the Pelicans too.

Well OKC had Adams and Ibaka, so they didn't really need Durant to protect the rim...but he's played extremely well in that roll.

I meant the earlier years pre Adams. Perkins outside of post defense was absolutely terrible. Seeing him guard Bosh while Ibaka was chasing Battier on 3pt line when Miami went small in the finals was hilarious. Okc got outscored badly with Perk who was a big negative for alot of his tenure there

34 points on 13 shots. 11-13 FG, 4-5 3P, 8-10 FT. He played a perfect game tonight. Utter domination.
They are telling him to be more aggressive on the court.

Yeah, this makes up a bit for those few bad nights on the road. Hope he keeps this up.

Nice to see KD have a good shooting night...seem like both him and Curry were missing everything.
