You have a very small team now, though.

As of right now, yes, but it's a pick I really could not pass on. Especially with how he has been playing before he got hit with COVID.

I think Detroit, Orlando, Houston and rhe New York Knicks are the only teams with no player picked yet.

On of the reasons I was considering Doncic at the #4, even with Giannis, available, was the cool sruff you can do then with the geam construction.

flaco's team of

Doncic
Brown
OG
Hayward

is proving that, you can go in so many different directions.

Honest question: Would you have gone with Ingram over Hayward? The way I see it, Hayward is a better fit next to Luka. He was one of my backup options in case I missed out on OG. Didn't expect to land them both. Ingram is the superior talent. Problem is, what's the point in using Ingram off the ball? I mean, he's nothing special as a shooter.

Btw, there are still (at least) 4 big names available on the board. Curious to see how far they'll drop.

OG and Brogdon were my two picks at the turn. Ouch.

1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Definitely Hayward, the only issue I can see with him is that he's always been injured or at least limited for the playoff since he left Utah.
As a voter I would have some doubts if you wanted to play him too many minutes, but he fits perfectly in your closing lineup

What happens if someone uses up their 24 hours?

Soon I think we should change the rules for the available time.
I must think how, but something like 4 every 8 hours.
Details not yet clear, but we count also the time lost BEFORE your turn, we don-t reset the clock to 8 hours every time. Hence you should always have a lit of at least four players shared with someone, if you can't be available.

A two hour clock turned off at night works pretty well. I realize we're trying to accomodate people in different time zones, but if you do that you won't have a good, consistent pace.

The pace hasn't been awful for this type of thing.

This can be highly problematic for me. I'm leaving Ryoka each night my list of preferences (I'm on Tel Aviv time), but it has been 5-6 choices ahead until now. There's a chance that with a fast pace I'll have to leave something like 20 choices for me to not be skipped, that's infeasible. Maybe 2h clock excluding nights but every participant has his own time range for when it's on.

Understand. Just saying we can expect a little slower pace with this framework and I don't think it's been terrible.

So, I think the "rest at night" idea stops making sense when you have a global group, otherwise it would be a good plan.

I think we need to try something less than 8 hours. If people think 2 hours is too short, then I'd say 4 hours.

Incidentally, with me being someone who has to make back-to-back picks, I find this position to be particularly challenging, because depending on who I get for the first player, that shapes who I want for the second. I may get screwed on this...but this is going to slow. If people aren't going to leave their lists with people (who know to expect lists), then I think this late in the project we just have to keep moving.

Also, my schedule's been really open to this point, but tomorrow through Christmas will be hectic for me. So, anyone who wants to leave picks with me today, go right ahead, but after that, not so much.
