Like most non-warriors fans I find Draymond extremely irritating on the court and I don't think he's a great guy. But he is excellent on television.

I thought the refs basically stopped calling that in the playoffs but here we are again.

Idk, there were like, two of these calls that I can think of. Just feels disproportionate.

It seemed a lot more than that. I saw 3 and1s in the second half where he felt a little hand check on his hip, threw himself to the ground and got the call. He’s putting the onus on the refs to blow the whistle there and it’s on the refs not to reward him for it.

Quick series. Pacers in 5. Maybe sweep. I mean it really doesn't matter either way. LOL. Their "reward" for winning is to be Thunderstruck in the finals. Knicks are a JOKE though. How do you blow that game. On a side note, my god SGA can never the face of the NBA. That dude's personality is as dry as new toilet paper

Rewatching OKC/MN Game 1, and it's clear what a night and day difference playing the Wolves is for the Thunder defense. Randle and Ant aren't dynamic enough playmakers to punish some of these Thunder rotations. Be interesting to see if they come away with any plan for that tonight after watching film.

I think okc defense is somewhat paradoxically better when it goes "small" because of its insane surplus of elite perimeter defenders, specially when chet is the only big due to his mobility

So gobert being a guy okc can relatively ignore does wonders for them

the nuggets are a complete joke of a franchise and are very likely running it back with the same starting 5. Likely not even bringing in a new GM as well. **** them.

This feels like a giant over-reaction to them hiring Adelman lol. Jokic for the first time has asked for help. They fired Booth and Malone. I mean they have made major changes. Roster will be harder with their limitations, but I expect them to try and be creative to upgrade the rotation.

But the fact they haven't solved everything days after their season ended....

Knicks playing a shootout series with Indy would probably be a loss.

Okc and Min may be as simple as SGA being better than Edwards.

7 wins away!

Also I don't get why people said the knicks were rhe faves when Pacers looked alot better these playoffs. Gebtlemansweeping a 64 win team really should get more respect right?

It's important to remember that winning more than once is HARD. In order to do it, you need an exceptional amount of talent. The amount of criticism Jokic is dealing with is a little odd here, because everyone who has ever rocked repeat titles has had a good deal of talent, more so relatively speaking than do the Nuggets at this time. And in the OKC series, with injuries to MPJ and Gordon, and Murray sucking a lot of ass, the outcome was decided as soon as they wasted that monster game from Jokic in game 5.

To be persistently competitive, you need more than what he's got. It's that simple. I wouldn't call them a "joke of a franchise," that's massive hyperbole. They're 2 years ahead of winning a title, after all. But the supporting cast had its big runs like the Rockets' guys did in 94 and the Mavs' guys did in 2011, and simply couldn't do it twice. It happens.

They made most of the acquisitions which led to the title after Joker hit the league. They did what they needed to do. What they haven't done is improved upon the 2023 team, nor managed to upgrade to a meaningful extent since then. The best move they've made since 2023 is start Christian Braun, and after that, acquiring Russell Westbrook. That tells you everything you need to know about how much they have or haven't improved since the title, really. Oh, and moving on from Malone and Booth has seemed to work out well so far. But talent acquisition is hard, so we'll see what comes next.

Perspective is required. They've done well enough to win a title, but not well enough to establish dynastic talent. How much do they really take the heat for that?

Well Denver can't be that bad. They took OKC to Game 7. No one else will win more than a single game. That kind of blows the "Nugget have no talent, Joker has no help" myth out of the water.. Wolves may win one, Pacers will be lucky to win a game at all. Knicks will get smoked from the opening tip and Thunder won't look back

Adelman was bad. Coached very scared as far as substitutions and challenges. Put Jokic in the middle of the floor 3 games late.

Denver lost the exact same way two games in a row against OKC in games 4 and 5. Extremely low level coaching.

I was always impressed with Malone’s adjustment ability. Clear step down after he left.
