I like what spoelstras doing here.. I dont like when James plays the whole 1st then starts the 2nd.. then spoelstra takes him out early in the 2nd... take him our at the end of the 1st.. let him chill for during the quarter break and for a couple mins... dont kill the momentum in the middle of the 2nd q

Looked decisive on those jumpers.

Lebron and Wade have been balling as it has been for this series..............the 2nd half is the difference. Id be interested in seeing Heats Ortg and Drtg splits in the halves

Lebron needs to stop driving to the basket in the halfcourt, nothing good ever comes out of it in this series. He should be posting up or shooting the jumper.

Amazing how different LeBron looks shooting jumpers after he makes his first couple. I'll never understand how or why he can go into some of the funks he's gone into when he misses a few early jumpers, but when he hits a few early, he plays with so much more confidence. He's looked great tonight.

Meh, he was hitting, missing, hitting, missing them in this game... the important thing is that he kept his head up and continued being aggressive, it payed off. A good game, far from one of his best this season but still a solid outing, much needed confidence booster for the next games.

Wade has been the man of the match though, that was prime 2009 Wade there.

The key for the rest of the series is if Wade can keep this up. He's not going to have another game at this level (at least, probably not), but he needs to come close. He was the best player on the floor tonight.

Oh, and Lebron knocking down all these jumpers is HUGE. I'd bet on him making his jumper the rest of the series.

Lebron stayed aggressive all night. He didn't lost confidence immediately after missing a few post up shots or jump shots like in previous games.

Wade was the best player on the floor tonight though, but if you look at the box-scores and nothing more, you would think it's Lebron. Lebron had like 8 meaningless/garbage time points, but they will probably give him confidence for the rest of the series.

It's funny how those last 7 garbage time points are going to make LeBron's game look more impressive than it was.

I think its safe to say that 3pt barrage by Spurs last game was deceiving. The Heat are the better team

How come? The Heat won by 19 in game and now 16 AT SA. The Spurs won in Miami by luck they were even throughout game 3 for spurs looks like major outlier

Finally Lebron steps up. Actually the big 3 scored 85 alone...

great game from lebron , bosh , and wade. Those early fastbreak layups and pushing the tempo got lebron going and he shot with confidence today.

How was the Spurs win in game 1 luck?

I think if the Heat win this series, Lebron will more than likely be the Finals MVP. However, he hasn't been impressive and I don't think he will be anymore impressive as the series goes on. Spurs defense is just too focused on him for him to play well.

It makes me wonder though.

Will people be more impressed by Lebron's 2013 Finals or Lebron's 2012 Finals? Lebron put up far better numbers against OKC and was just simply better, but OKC's defense isn't close to or as smart as San Antonio's defense. Lebron wasn't really double teamed against OKC until the Game 5 and that was the game where Lebron got a triple-double.

There's no deception here. The Spurs shot 8-16 tonight. 50% from 3PA is solid

Game 3 - 16-32. 50% on 32 3PA is absurd.

Game 2 - 10-20 50%

Game 1 was the stinker - 7-23. I think that's the deception.

Miami finally started closing out on San Antonio's 3PA in the third. That was the most aggressive I've seen Miami all series.

The Spurs are capable of hitting the long ball though. Game 5 is going to be fun.

P.S Where's the Wade Thread? :P

If anything Dwyane Wade having a good game should be considered a fluke and deceiving

He's probably talking about parker's shot, but who cares. The heat shouldn't have been in that position in the first place
