Nah, let's have one of the greatest comebacks in NBA history. At least then I won't have to hear about Kyrie Irving as a 1st ballot HOF player for a while.

I feel like Anthony Edwards really meant his quote after Game 4 of "I'm just glad we didn't get swept" and is thinking about his trip to Cabo before the Olympics.

Luka heaters are insane.

It's great to see Lively back, but...his return essentially exposes the NBA's concussion protocol. He got knee'd in the BACK of the head by a 270-pound man. He was down on the ground for several minutes, had to be helped to the back, and even then was visibly woozy.

I get this is basketball and not football or MMA, so the chances he faces a similar violent impact to his head this game are not super high, but still...it's like, four days after that severe shot. I'm not trying to play doctor, but I wouldn't want him cleared to play. Brain injuries are not something to mess with.

They’ll lose to the Celtics but Luka is the best player in the world

And the Luka buzzer beater.

And Kyries absolutely perfect 1st half in game 1.

But yeah, besides those 3 things.

you can’t point out the opposing players making shots as a reason comparable to an injury though

4-1 is a bit harsh in terms of quality of teams though, the Wolves deserve to be here

Lively was never even put into the concussion protocol!!! My fault about incorrectly stating the NBA's concussion protocol was exposed. It's worse than that. They don't even use it when appropriate.

You see Lively literally just took an elbow to the head unfortunately. Does the league not care about liability? Bad look in my eyes.

Wolves offense is so bad. They were 16th rated offense and 24th in halfcourt rating for a reason. Their defense is basically their entire offense. If they cant force turnovers or stops at a league high clip they are very mid. Still many were confident theyd beat us in the finals just a week ago

Minnesota matches up much better against Boston than Dallas, but that's a moot point since it isn't happening.

Glad you can finally move on from Gobert bashing and find your next player to bash for the next decade after CP3 is past his prime and Gobert has racked up strong statistically arguments against your emotional tirades.

I think a lot in the Finals will come down to whether Porzingis comes back and is healthy. I’d favor the Celtics much more with Porzingis healthy (and might not even really favor them at all if Porzingis isn’t playing or is playing hobbled).

Boston are a tier or two above every team and talent wise should never be pushed to 5

Dallas in 7

Delusional to think Minnesota matches up much better against us. Rudy is only a dominant defender in 1 scheme as a roamer. Mavs can take him out of it and us 5 out would have no problem w/ it either. Our offense is different but just as dominant in exposing his playoff flaws. Nuggets dont run their offense giving him same matchup problems that prioritize their entire defense.

Rudy is also an offensive liability against competent playoff defenses and hed get bodied by Al Horford and really on offense in general.

You responded to the claim that the Mavs would have swept without a certain injury...with two things that are not injuries.

That isn't true. Gobert is always effective because he is one of the best rim protectors in the NBA and can contest without doubling, multiple times per possession, with incredible efficiency.

Look at his numbers in the Dallas series.

Rudy is also an offensive liability against competent playoff defenses and hed get bodied by Al Horford and really on offense in general.

Sort of, but Boston doesn't have the size that Dallas has.

Like I said, Minnesota matches up better against Boston than Dallas. Dallas is like their worst matchup of the Top 5-6 teams in the post-season.

I think it's fair to say the 2 best teams are in the NBA Finals and 3 best teams made the NBA Conference Finals.
