Ardee - Apologies, will have to pull out as a judge. Was beginning to do my evaluations on matchups, and it looks like I won't have time to evaluate teams aptly in order to do the team's justice (it appears the other judges are doing tremendous jobs, and I look forward to reading the team writeups, rebuttals, and judge posts when I can catch up). How many votes do we need to move on? I have 3 out of 4 right now. Is it best of 5 votes, best of 7? Judging should be easier in round 2. Less matchups and the posters who lose can vote.

We will probably have to vote as well, the participants. I really wanted to avoid that because the lower seeds get judged by the same people who already placed them there. Only Clyde, drza, elgee, and penbeast have really been active judges (much appreciation for those posters!), so maybe quote them in your thread?

Quotatious is well respected, maybe we can have him be a fifth judge.

The whole game seems pretty dead, unfortunately. Only drza, clyde, elgee, and penbeast judged. All of the matchups are on page 2 of the board and lower.

I lose 0-2 right now. I don't think 2 votes are enough to eliminate my team. Even though my team will probably not win even one vote, I'd feel much more comfortable losing 0-5 than 0-2 for example.

Can we open it up to the whole forum at this point? Like make a single post that quotes all the game threads and let them vote on all of them? You can count the judge votes as 50%. Otherwise, the game is dead at this point.

Hit some massive unforeseen deadlines at work... have only been able to do 3/8 votes in the first round so far. I'd still like to vote on the rest of the first round matchups, but understand if you want to move on. I'd still be down to judge in the next round, though.

In the last project I did, we created a poll where the results that would count as 1 more "judge" vote. Could help move the process along.
