I've recently spent some time tweaking my ATL. I ended up putting Nance and Archibald in the 70-80 range with Nance a few spots ahead of Tiny since he had more high quality seasons and was a two way player.

Still figuring out 91-100. Don't think Walton will end up on my list.

I have a hard time trying to figure out where I should rank him, and I would have to be a little inconsistent with my criteria to include him, but he was a historically great player at his peak (top 15 peak ever - currently 14th on my list), so I feel like I should make an exception for him.

Some people (Notanoob is one, and probably batmana, IIRC) argued for Walton even in the 30s or 40s, so it depends entirely on your criteria (because I think nobody denies that Walton was a true all-time great at his peak, which lasted for about 100 games).

I guess I'll vote for Walton when I get uncertain who I should vote for. For now though, Tiny, Worthy and Bosh are my top candidates. I'll seriously consider voting for Walton over the "super role players" like Bobby Jones or Horace Grant, though.

I'll be honest: I don't think i'm going to vote for walton until he starts getting traction. I do think he belongs in the top 100, but I don't know that i'll come to a point where I can argue for him over someone else in that range. While i’ve stressed longevity and durability less later in the project, he essentially has none, and I take issue with that when evaluating a player’s entire career.

Also, I want to start looking closer at carmelo soon, just haven't had the time. I have enough info off the top of my head (good and bad) to get out there. Just not as motivated to roll with it as the knicks are having a historically awful season and the support for him here is probably average at best.

It’d also be nice if we had some more people voting at this point, but i’m glad i stuck with it. Some awesome discussion still going on even with the ~dozen of us left.

I can understand making an exception for Walton and his ATG peak. I just have a hard time putting him ahead of guys with very good peaks and much greater prime and career longevity/durability. Detlef Schrempf, for example, is a player I'd be much more comfortable voting for.
