Best third guy doesn't mean the first and second guys were up to it.
Nor does it mean they didn't suffer injury or bad luck in the playoffs.

2005-06 he was top 20 in points, rebounds, steals, blocks and field goal percentage, as well as minutes. That ain't a bad third banana, and I think he sits comfortably in this company in terms of peak.
