Something I've noticed in his career is that he's really mediocre at finishing after getting an offensive rebound. Don't know why that is, but he blows a lot of tip-ins/putbacks and it has been a career-long thing for him.

Lebron was playing out of this world in February and his stats were amazing but in march his stats are really on the decline...it's a shame that when you look back at his raw stats it won't really show how great of a season he had

LeBron had 19/10/7 in the 2nd half. That's what Magic Johnson averaged per game during his career except with 1 extra assist.

Lebron completely commanded that game with amazing pick n rolls and good instincts on D. Also, I loved that heat check near the end of the 4th, reminded me of some of that 2009 Cleveland Lebron.

25 and counting... Amazing.

This is the best regular season game I've ever seen him play in Miami, if you count defense as well. He was calling things out on every other possession and covering insane distances with his help D, he's easily the best player in the NBA at closing on a 3-point shooter without taking himself out of the play.

He made every other player on the court look like they belonged in a lower league.

Interesting to note is how "low" Miami's point differential has been during this win streak, it's only +11 ppg over their opponents. Seems like most teams that went on long 16+ game win streaks had differentials more in the 14-15 ppg range.

Not that it's bad or anything, that's a great number (obviously) and they're utterly destroying teams in crunch time, it's just interesting how they've done it without having many huge blowouts.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. They're not giving themselves enough time to really create separation because they're playing games so close. Even teams on high single digit game winning streaks tend to hit the mid-teens in terms of MOV. They'll get to statpad against Charlotte tomorrow though.

SRS or MOV over this particular regular season doesn't seem to be very indicative for Miami though. They haven't managed to put offense and defense together consistently over a stretch of games yet, and I can't imagine they won't do so in the postseason. I think they're more truly a +11-12 SRS team than a +7 one.

He's kicked back into his February gear. 40.2 PER in his last 4 games. 39.2 in his last 5.

Looking like he might end up breaking that PER record after all. It's probably like 31.2 after this game?

Btw, Miami just needs to win 2 more games to lock up the #1 seed in the East.

Between 31.3 and 31.4, haven't done the exact calculations. It's definitely a possibility that he takes it.

On another note. I'm really looking forward to just how high this Miami offense can go in the postseason. They're been at 116 for over half the season now, and it looks like this is the beginning of a 2.5 year regular season stretch where they sustain that level or higher. Considering the fact that the Big 3 + Battier/Allen are going to see their minutes go up in the postseason, I think there's a reasonable chance we see them hit or get really close to 120.

Today was quite a sick game. He was playing February-level offense and he ramped it up defensively too.... It's like he can just choose to shoot 70-80% whenever he feels like :o

in this game Bron cut to the rim conquering position pretty easily with his size and weigth, having and easy shot. Miami should try this play mor often: 4 players on a side, one pg/ball handler on the other, lebron cuts beasting his opponent, layup/dunk, and-one, championship.

If he played against Charlotte every day he would probably have like a 45 PER.

That what was so fun about that 2009 Cavs team. No matter how far behind we might have been we knew that we'd have a shot to win it in the 4th. It's kind of fun having those non clutch players on your team.
