The team just doesn't have the personnel. What's JJ supposed to do? When a 41yo is better on that end than your #1 and #2 options consistently, and you don't have a true defensive anchor, what're you supposed to do?
LeBron should play better D considering he's paid more than Luka and 4x more than AR. LeBron or better said his salary is Lakers' the biggest problem. They could be contenders with 2 defensive specialists playing for that money.
They wouldn't. Unless those specialists are real 2 way players. Can you find 2 2way players for 53M? Probably but it's not a trivial task especially with Pelinka calling shots. Even then their rim protection wouldn't be good enough
