I don't know how you can possibly defend that opinion after what happened tonight. I'm not going to try and sway you, it's not worth the argument, just shocking really.

it was a game, why would that have any major impact on my view of the YEAR? That's really confusing me. It was a really really great game from lebron.

Like I said, not going to have the argument. I don't think there is one.

FWIW, I would put Curry #5 right now. He’s been back on his A game since Game 3 of the Houston series, he’s better than Durant, and he didn’t get hurt before the 2 biggest games of the season like CP3.

I've made my stance pretty clear on that one.

LeBron winning game 7 on the road while Harden lost Game 7 at home didn’t have any effect on your “getting homecourt is more important than having the best player in a series” stance?

I don't think I made that last comment.

But no, the league has been around for decades. Two series doesn't change that. It certainly elevated my view of Lebron this year, but given how low I was on him going into the playoffs he had a LOT of ground to makeup.

So in the course of a week:
Chris Paul misses games 6 and 7
The Warriors get favorable whistles three games in a row
The Rockets miss 27 consecutive threes
Jr Smith literally forgets the score.

Does Steve Kerr have a horseshoe hiding somewhere? Even when they get unlucky they get lucky, given that Klay is somehow fine after the scare he had.

I'm asking why you think 1 game would move the needle, isn't about lebron vs harden. I just don't see why a game would change anything meaningful with 90+ games played.

Because it eliminates any argument James Harden had. He proved the regular season didn't matter and dominated the Warriors at a level James Harden never approached. The only thing standing in the way was the Cavs couldn't compete with Golden State and it's gone.

Drawing a blank on who was asking lebron the last question of that presser, but what an ****. Lebron actually answered the question multiple times and he was trying to get a better "headline quote" from lebron. Totally justifiable to walk off after that.

Dude had a 30+ Game Score in the finals averaging over 35+ PPG.

And wasn't the bst player over the entire season. Iggy won a FMVP too.

Fair enough. I don't see this as evidence that the cavs can compete. It is just a single game.

I remember like yesterday this game, and I recall how scared I was in game 6 that if the jazz won, they'd win game 7 without a question. You can only take so much out of one game.

Iggy didn't put up a 30+ game score averaging over 30+ ppg in the finals. Tony Parker, Chauncey Billups, Kawhi Leonard, Cedric Maxwell won finals mvp as well but neither were Duran'ts level in the finals.

Kerr has been a mediocre playoff coach at this point. They get by on talent but historically hes gonna get looked at in a positive light. Lue is on pace to outcoach him again. Blatt has already outcoached him. Dantoni outcoached him bad. Billy Donovan of all ppl did.

I think they are screwed now. It takes a ridiculously mentally tough team to come back from what happened tonight. Probably over in 4-5. I'm in Spaceman mode from last round where I'm so upset that we had a chance to have a great series going forward with an underdog team that worked their ass of only to get screwed (unintentionally of course) than taunted by the frontrunners who should've lost. It's a damn shame.

Yeah, tonight sucked as an NBA fan. I was going for the warriors, but I'm an nba fan first and that SUCKED as a fan of the game.
