lol I just blinked and he put up 28 in the quarter. Regret not putting the game on.

It's tough to admit, but he might just be the most explosive scorer in the history of the NBA, the accuracy and volume of his unassisted 3s just makes it stupidly easy for him to put a ton of points on the board really, really quickly.....

Is he actually going to keep doing this?

Durant and every recent player since Lebron is basically in his rearview if he keeps on like this, in terms of All-Time ceiling

For sure. He puts up (what seem like) the easiest 40 point nights I've ever seen. He's nearly matching 06 Kobe/87 Jordan in per-possession scoring rate (should be ~34.0 after tonight), contending with both for highest in NBA history, except he's doing it on 70% TS (after tonight).

So I check the box score at halftime and I see Curry has an ok line of 12pts (4/7 FG, 3/6 3FG)/5asts/4TOs. The Warriors were winning by a decent clip so I figured I wouldn't miss anything special.

I decide to check the box score again 20+ minutes later and I did a double take.

28pts in a quarter! 5/5 from 3 and 5/6 from 2pt in one quarter!

I've heard the phrase phrase that a certain player on a good scoring night is in another stratosphere. Curry has been in another stratosphere the entire season. This is insanity!!

If he keeps this up he is very much in the discussion for the GOAT peak. He is also revolutionary in a way that few in the history of this game have been before him. I have always been a fan, but I can't believe this is happening. The level he is playing on right now is just unbelievable

As a curiosity, there is literally no way to stop Steph Curry.

However, I was thinking, perhaps defenders would fare better trying to block the eyes instead of blocking the shot?

Given Steve Nash's career trajectory I think it is fair to bring up GOAT potential for Curry.
