I like this GSW team, I think they win the trophy for sure.

Credit to Curry, smart and unselfish, has adapted, drives a lot more, dishes a lot more. Last season hype to no end, this season no hype at all, despite playing very smart and team oriented basketball.

90sgoat praising a player not from the 90s???? What is this sorcery? How on earth could this possibly make MJ greater in everyone's eyes??

OT: Are the Warriors going to go 16-0? Maybe some peak superduperstar outings plus hot shooting from their cast can steal a game off of them, but it just looks like they can't be beaten at all at times.

Honestly they should direct their anger towards Clay Bennett. What comes around goes around and Bennett got what he deserved. If you're too cheap to pay for a dynasty then you don't deserve to have one. And as a result he lost the 2017 MVP and another top 2 player in the league, and allowed Golden State to form what will go down as one of the all-time great dynasties in the history of sports.

Pretty much every time I've watched him this season he's looked like the best player in the league. I think it's silly he is not getting much MVP consideration because his team is stacked.

He is bashing LeBron, lol.

I think they lose a game in the in the Western Conference and hope Cleveland beats them. I expect Cleveland to take at least 2 games in the Finals.

I don't like KD much, but he looks phenomenal this season. Defensively he looks MUCH BETTER.

Still think Harden gets the MVP though.
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Interesting to see Durant 2nd. But I can believe he would get MVP if GSW have the best record.

Well at this point I'm crossing my fingers for a playoff series against OKC if it means we get supernova Durant.

As a GOAT fan I'm certainly not. It's not gonna be fun seeing OKC get demolished 4 times or at best take a game while KD is mean mugging the bench and whatnot lol. Though obviously as a GSW fan I can see why it would be fun for you :).

To me he's definitely second place if you ignore the fact he's playing on a team with the B2B reigning MVP and a team that had a better record at this point last season without him.

I don't really understand if you can put any meaning in the "MV" part of the MVP award if Durant wins, not that there has always been that much value on it in the past.

Yeah and that's why regular season MVP has become meaningless. They should make a full season MVP which might or might not be the Finals MVP.

Outplayed 3/4 of the other top 5 players in the league (not including himself) in Lebron, Westbrook and Harden in the same week. Was the best player on the court in 2/3 those games (Draymond VS Cavs)

31/7/5/3 on 80ts% with 1 turnover in 32 minutes per game in those 3 games with incredible defense. All wins were by destruction (well 2nd half VS Okc)

Gotta be one of the most impressive regular season weeks I've seen

He's on a mission.

I really think he has a chance to supplant Lebron after the finals if he outplays him. He is locked in on both ends of the floor and the game looks easy for him. Completely unstoppable this week.

Despite his smooth, efficient, killer offensive game I can't deny that I get the most excited watching him (and Green) lock down the paint night in and night out. His consistency on that end of the court is remarkable, and should be recognised as an elite defender if he isn't already.

He may just win it. The team is stacked almost like 80s Lakers showtime. They don't have inside presence like Lakers but they can score like I've never seen before. Yesh. I'll be shocked if the cavs could win another ring with this team.

How is his chances to make a all defensive 2nd team? he needs to be strongly considered.

He could win 1st team defense . Being on great defensive team doesn't mean can't first team defense. Jordan won with the Bulls who were stacked with Rodman,Pippen and defensive bigs who clog the paint. Why couldn't KD win it?
