What?

Not in a legal guarding position so you can throw an elbow to his sternum?

He'd do so much better if he simply put his head down and drove. All he's doing is overdribbling at this point.

i dont want to be mean on curry when i say this, i respect him a lot as a legend of the game

but i am unsure if i would fear switching adams on him during picks

what happened to him after 2021?

He just got into a habit of driving left, stepping back, hesi hesi and driving again. It looks flashy but he's unable to get a step on anyone with this move. Seems to me like a lot of "skill work" in the off-season that has near 0 translation into actual games.

No Kuminga/JTA from Brown makes very little sense to me.

As a Jazz fan I remember those sneaky kidney punches on Conley last season from Brooks.

those 69 dribbles into throwing himself in the defender chest with no call is a textbook example to show kids about the danger of flashy over dribblinh without purpose

I actually don't think Curry has lost that much of a step from last year but he's just playing that much stupider.

is it too early to say this is post prime curry? his impact numbers are still there, but his shot seems to have taken a real step down (may be just a really odd down year) and for whatever reason his 1vs1 game is not that threatening anymore

I think it's clearly post prime. I thought he was post his prime last year. But I don't think he's fallen off that much physically. Whenever he decides to stop dancing with the ball and just make a quick move to the hole, he's still getting by guys. But the dumb dancing and useless dribbling has been a lot more prevalent this season compared to last.

On the subject of flash and no substance, I've been impressed with how Tatum has changed his game from the "hesi hesi tween" trainer basketball that he's been all too privy to in the past to making simple moves with the basketball.

The two best players in the world - Giannis and Jokic - make simple moves and don't waste any energy on flashy BS that gets you no where.

feels like on a lot of the plays where he is getting past his defender he's blowing the finish or making a poor read which might be making it look worse

Lot of ugly s**t in this series. Both teams feeling a need to retaliate at this point.

how does this series make you feel about warriors title chsnces?

i am unsure if warriors are dissapointing by being played to a standstill by these grizzlies, or if the grizzlies are jusy that good and a potential champiomship team themselves

I don't like the stop and flop, but I don't think that was one from Tyus, looked like a foul on Wiggins to me on first glance.
