Another dominant defensive game.......he really put the clamps on Ibaka and Gordon when he was on them. This is just Kds first year in this role defensively and if Kd keeps improving on that end............hes already playing at a fringe Dpoy level just below the true Dpoy contenders IMO

That completes his reunion tour against Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka

It's a joke now how good he is on defense this season..as a fan of KD he has even exceeded my expectations.

I knew with more time at the 4 he'd be tremendous on offense but his defense man...i am now convinced he absolutely should make a all defensive team now the question is can he conceivably make the first team all defense as crazy as it sounds.

Frontcourt is clearly Giannis, Draymond, Gobert for 1st team

he should comfortably make 2nd team tho if he keeps this up

As much as I absolutely abhor Durant's decision to join GSW, he's going to redeem himself in my eyes quite a bit if he continues to play so well the rest of the season and in the playoffs. He's been fantastic this season.

Kawhi will make 1st team whether it's deserves or not he is a b2b DPOY no way he doesn't make 1st team i personally would be shocked...i guess it comes down to KD and Paul Millsap at that forward spot on the 2nd team.

True. Kd has been clearly better than Kawhi defensively so far IMO
Lebron should be up there as well, its gonna be tough to pick defensive teams

When will he get the "2 way player" label that LBJ, PG13, Kawhi, and CP3 get in comparisons?

Baby steps. He has to surpass two way superstar Klay Thompson first

decent shooting night for KD...had a really good 4th quarter after playing mediocre for 3 quarters.

4th quarter was really good for GSW so they can get some 4th quarter chemistry before the postseason.

The most striking thing about the 4th was that he didn't take any 3s. He really seems better when he doesn't jack those up.

I wish I could post on the GB. There is a thread that states LeBron is the best player this season and asks who is second best. I struggled with idea but, up to this point Durant is top dog in my opinion.

He always turns it up in January IIRC. The Mvp race was essentially over after his January 2014

Would have been nice if he played defense this well the last 3 or 4 years.

He piggybacked a 73 win team, so of course he has the luxury to finally play defense now instead of having to shoulder the offensive load on a less talented roster like OKC. Less defensive pressure too from opponents who now have to also focus on four all-stars(including last year's MVP).
