very entertaining series and some superhuman performances from giannis to will his team to force 7

but i am glad that we won't be dealing with the circus of officiating discussion that always surrounds bucks games.

I'm not sure they get past Miami. I think the Bucks would have won this series pretty easily with Middleton.

No team is beating this Celts team easily.

Giannis is great but no Bron

cmon GSP dont kick the man while he is down  , he had a strong series and had to carry the bucks offense with almost no help lol

while some of his weaknesses showed up costly he was still great overall

Nobody's LeBron. But I would put the blame more on the Bucks' antiquated defensive system of giving up wide-open threes to lock down the paint than anything Giannis is doing. Giannis is the only reason this even went 7 with no Middleton and the rest of the Bucks bringing their Z-game this series.

early thought is that the heat are gonna need a lot out of butler against boston and i really struggle to see him being able to provide that against this defense.

their antiquated defensive plan was working incredblly well during the series (and last playoffs)

they, however, were too late to switch tactics when brook started to struggle in closing out to the corner in the 3rd quarter

in hindsight if they go small in the third quarter the game may have stayed within reach

but at the end of the day theie defense was great overall in the series, it was everyone but giannis offense that left bucks down (hence, the hurting absence of middletom to raise the offensive floor with his iso game)

Marcus Smart on Giannis changed this whole series. Opened up the entire floor on offense and it turned out he was their best defender on Giannis anyway.

Theyre 13-13 without Middleton now Rs and playoffs. Hes so underrated. 2 of Bucks wins against us were extremely slim single possession too

Conceding wide-open threes to modern NBA players is a really stupid gamble even if you get lucky a few times in a series.

giannis in general was fantastic this series and carried them

but he seriously underperformed in game 7 offensively and i think it's fair to criticize him for that given the expectations as the best in the world. not that there was anything he could've done to win this game but his production late was nonexistent

Ugh. If Dallas doesn't win tonight there is not a single team left in the playoffs anyone can actually root for. What an unlikable 3 of the final 4 teams and the Suns aren't any better.

Dallas has to win to save the NBA.

I can't stand this Celtics team, but congratulations. They deserved that win, this defense is nothing short of incredible.

Giannis had a really bad game in the end. Outside of the first quarter he was a non-factor.

the idea is to focus on the paint and corner 3's and domt worry abouy average shooters shooting above the break

it works more often that it doesnt as evidenced by the fact bucks defense held boston fairly beloe their average scoring

it backfired this game (and bud was too late to realize it) but defense was not why bucks lost this series but their weak offense

Giannis disappointed me a bit in Game 7. Obv. it's still a 20/20/9 game but he had a lot of empty trips when the Celtics were trying to put it away.

Congrats to Celts fans. Well deserved.

I dont know what to make of Giannis passing or playmaking impact. Hes good there but I dunno how hed function in most systems that dont have the floor completely spaced out with 3pt shooters at every position

I'm a Dallas fan and you expect me to enjoy the Heat? :nonono:
